Tribute to A Very
Special Husband
When God was making husbands as far as I can see, He made a special soulmate especially for me. He made a perfect gentleman, compassionate and kind. With more love and affection Than you could ever wish to find. He gave my darling husband A heart of solid gold. He gave me wonderful memories only my heart Can hold. He was someone I could laugh with till tears Ran down my face. Next time we meet will be at Heaven’s door. When I see you standing there I won’t cry anymore. I will put my arms around you and kiss your smiling Face. Then the pieces of my broken heart will fall back in place. Miss you so much, Your loving Wife,
Deloris
Tribute to our
Dad
You were our first love, our teacher, our personal nurse, our family chef, our shoulder to cry on, our secret keeper, life coach and biggest cheerleader. If only love could save you, you would be here. Although we weep, we find joy in knowing that you crossed over to eternal glory and you are watching over us. You were God fearing and gave us the very BEST, a true Girl Dad you were. What can you say to have been blessed with a Dad so great that he owes us nothing. He honestly left nothing on the table and gave us all the love he had to give. To know him was to love him, he lived a life worthy of honor. Rest well Superman, God needed you more. You are already deeply missed and we know the journey won’t be easy. However, we are beyond grateful that God chose you specifically for us. We love you, we told you and showed you. Well done! “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me a crown of righteousness ,which the Lord , the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. (2 Timothy 4:7-8) We love you Daddy!,

Tribute to my
Papa
Thanks for being the BEST Papa ever! Thank you for cooking special meals for me because I am a picky eater, picking me up from school every day, playing cards with me, planting a garden with me, nursing me back to health when I was very sick but most of all teaching me the word of God. I will miss our Target runs and being able to get an unlimited amount of toys, by the way, you were the only one who allowed me to buy sticky slime that I enjoy playing with. I will miss you SO much but I know you are in heaven because you always told me that’s where you were going when you taught me your Sunday School lesson. I know you are watching over us and l will forever keep your love and memories in my heart. I love you Papa, Your favorite girl

Remember Me
By Anthony Dawson Speak of me as you have always done. Remember the good times, laughter, and fun. Share the happy memories we’ve made. Do not let them wither or fade. I’ll be with you in the summer’s sun And when the winter’s chill has come. I’ll be the voice that whispers in the breeze. I’m peaceful now, put your mind at ease. I’ve rested my eyes and gone to sleep, But memories we’ve shared are yours to keep. Sometimes our final days may be a test, But remember me when I was at my best. Although things may not be the same, Don’t be afraid to use my name. Let your sorrow last for just a while. Comfort each other and try to smile. I’ve lived a life filled with joy and fun. Live on now, make me proud of what you’ll become. Final Earthly Resting Place Laurel Land Funeral Home 6300 R.L.
