WHAT YOU MISSED AT INNIS:

INTRODUCING: Chiao Sun

To wrap up the month of February, the ICSS threw Innis the party of the year – Innis Formal.

Hi! I'm Chiao, a computer science student and also the ICSS photographer this year! You've probably seen me around before with my camera, yelling "Who wants a new profile picture?".

The annual event was held this year at Atlantis Pavilions, featuring hors d’oeuvres, a three-course meal, and an evening of dancing in classy attire. The ICSS Social Directors – Alissa Mirochnitchenko and Judy Zhu – were responsible for the evening, and did a fantastic job. Thank you so much for all of your hard work! Next year’s ICSS Social Directors (who will be in charge of the 2017 version of this event) are being decided this week! You can vote today and tomorrow in the ICSS Office or at voting.utoronto.ca.

I love Innis because Innis is a community that has character, and characters. It's full of charm and opportunities, challenges and inclusiveness. I got to know Innis during frosh and was really amazed how dynamic this microcosm is. The more I got involved in Innis, the more I got inspired by the Innis people. Recently, I started doing a photo story series called Innis Inspiration, to share the stories of those who motivated me and led me towards the path of success. I hope this photo story series can reach more first-year people like me, helping them get aware of the vast variety of resources that Innis incorporates. Keep smiling and keep inspiring!
