Iniciativas Turísticas (INTUR SRL) is a limited liability company, created at the end of 2004, with the firm purpose of researching and creating new development proposals for micro and small enterprises related to tourism, both locally and abroad.

MERCOSUR TOURISM PROMOTION PROJECT IN JAPAN. 2004-2005 Regional Consultancy for the Project "Tourism Promotion of Mercosur in Japan" - "Design of Regional Tourism Products." Preparation of presentation materials for the opening of the First Mercosur Tourism Office in Japan; contract awarded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in the process of making recommendations for the design of regional tourism products.
USAID PARAGUAY SELLS Campaign “Your Product to the Supermarket” 2009 Natalia Galeano was awarded as inter-institutional coordinator of three economic corridors in central, southern and eastern Paraguay with numerous public entities and private institutions for the achievement of the objectives of the campaign; it assisted more than 500 micro entrepreneurs for the formalization and entry of products to supermarkets and value chains. The project included strategic alliances of public entities such as the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Environment Secretariat, the Paraguayan Chamber of Supermarkets, SUAE (Business Opening System), and SENACSA (the Animal Health National Service) through the signing of cooperation agreements.
Competitive Development of Rural Tourism in the Andes 2009-2010 Competitive Development of Rural Tourism in the Andes (Chimborazo, Ecuador) Inturidee Consortium. Technical assistance for the elaboration of 11 Business Plans to the Indigenous communities of the CORDTUCH (Community Tourism Development Corporation of Chimborazo). This consultancy was awarded by the Codespa Foundation through the Regional Rural Tourism Project in the Andes (Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia) which had as beneficiaries more than 550 families distributed in 11 community tourism operations in five cantons of the Province of Chimborazo, Ecuador, in areas of influence of the Chimborazo Fauna Production Reserve of approximately 59,000 hectares. After 12 years, the benefits in the reserve through community tourism reach 1,700 families. Recently, we have participated in the Tourism Conversation as a tool for the inclusion of local communities by the Tourism Career of the University of Santiago de Guayaquil, dependent of the Faculty of Economic, Administrative and Business Sciences, in order to share the experience acquired.
Marketing Plan of the Scientific Monument Moisés Santiago Bertoni (Paraguay) 2011 In the framework of the Project “Development of Competitive Products of the Yguazu Misiones Touristic Route” for the National Secretariat of Tourism (Senatur) and financed by FOCEM (the Mercosur Convergence Fund). The assistance consisted of supporting Senatur, the Environment Secretariat (today the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development - MADES) and the National Secretariat of Culture, in the creation of the Bertoni Monument Brand, design of the Marketing Plan, elaboration of dissemination materials, and recommendations on the sustainability of the Project. As a result, the Bertoni Monument has positioned itself as a competitive attraction in the department of Alto Parana, managed by MADES and the Moisés Bertoni Foundation as a concessionaire of tourist services.
Villa Hayes Coastal Park Project (Asuncion, Chaco)
2013 Client: Architect Enio Varela for the National Tourism Program (Pronatur), SENATUR. Technical Assistance for the Business Plan, Study of Tourism Capacity and Design of Tourism Products. The Project materialized with the construction of the tourist pier in Villa Hayes and was in operation with catamaran routes connecting the cities of Asuncion and Villa Hayes (the latter in the Paraguayan Chaco) before the Covid 19 pandemic. Architect Christian Ronnemberk and Honoris Causa Architect Pablo Ruggero were invited to the classroom "C" of the National University of Architecture for the presentation of the Project "Villa Hayes Coastal Park."
Support for the Preparation of the Investment Plan for River Tourism and Nature in the Western Region of Parana 2017-2019 Hidriaintur Consortium for SENATUR, financed by the Inter-American Development Bank and the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI). The consultancy lasted almost two years, achieving important strategic alliances, the formation of the River Tourism Network, identification of 14 focal and trunk investments integrating six natural reserves of Alto Parana, including the Ñacunday National Park.The Valorization study of ecosystem services allowed to identify the supply, demand and design of new products of river tourism and nature socialized and validated with surveys of the target population in the triple border and focus groups in the most representative tour operators of Paraguay.
Training Plan for the Public and Private Fabric in Alto Parana 2019 Financed by the Organization of Ibero-American States and the Inter-American Development Bank. A training plan was designed and implemented for 100 participants in Alto Parana in three modules in face-to-face format: 1) Tourism and Environment 2) Microenterprise Management 3) Tourism and Cultural Management and Orange Economy. The Training Program was developed in a didactic, participatory way offering solid and updated knowledge from a space of constructive interaction and learning with professionals in the different areas. At the end of each module, more than 100 participants were evaluated and certified.
STUDYS OF TOURIST RESOURCES OF THE JAPANESE INMIGRATION AND THE CREATION OF THE BRAND ROUTE OF INMIGRANTS
2019 Study of tourist resources of the Japanese immigration and creation of the Brand “Route of the Japanese Immigrants" in the rural community of La Colmena (The Hive) in the department of Paraguari.The assistance was provided to the Japanese Cultural Association of La Colmena to highlight the attractions and tourist resources related to the first collectivity of Japanese immigrants in Paraguay with a focus on territorial development and OVOP (One Village One Product). As a result, the creation of a brand of identity and pride socialized with the community of La Colmena and validation by its tourism commission was achieved, comprising the inclusive and participatory design of the route "The Japanese Immigrants.”
Study of Potential Resources Concerning the Japanese Immigration and Nikkei Identity for the Creation of the Nikkei-Paraguayan Identity Center, in Encarnacion.
2020 The consultancy "Study of Potential Resources of Japanese Immigration in Encarnacion for the Creation of the Paraguayan Nikkei Identity Center" in that city involved work with Japanese communities and associations in the rural areas of Pirapo, La Paz, Yguazu and Ciudad del Este. Thirty-one qualitative interviews were conducted with the first generation of ISSEY immigrants from the second current of Japanese immigration to survey the collective imaginary of arrival in Paraguay, their experiences, anecdotes documented as intangible heritage and the inventory of material heritage. This consultancy was awarded to the consultancy Iniciativas Turísticas SRL. In the process of socialization of the results, participatory workshops were held on the methodology of collective harvesting of stories, the making of a photo book, the creation of the architectural concept and brand of the Nikkei Identity Center. As a result, the Paraguayan Nikkei Identity Center is a reality and a cultural attraction to the tourist and cultural offer of the city of Encarnacion. This consultancy was carried out in the middle of the pandemic following all biosecurity criteria.
