VOLUME 24 ISSUE 2
SOROR CHARLOTTE D. BERRY 24TH NATIONAL PRESIDENT Welcome to the Fall Season! The weather is slowly changing, the trees and flowers are changing colors, and we are looking forward to a season filled with purpose and productive results, with abundant blessings. Members of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, we are now in the second month of our official sorority year. Many chapters have already begun to have Informational meetings and new Intake lines. As an organization we are growing and glowing together. The National Board is readily working on addressing and mitigating concerns with chapter’s background checks processing and materials being received. It is our privilege to serve you as a national board with having normal expectations of prompt responses and solutions. The National Board currently has over 60% of the members working fulltime jobs and of course with families of their own. No excuses rendered, we are working to serve you in a professional, sisterly and respectful manner as our goal. Members and auxiliaries, the month of October, is Breast Cancer Awareness, Domestic Violence Awareness, Bullying Prevention, Crime Prevention, National ADHD Awareness, Down Syndrome Awareness, and Iota Make a Difference Day. As a Professional and Business organization, it is incumbent on us to work and partner in our communities. We have a responsibility as advocates for good mental and physical health, and family financial sustainability in our communities, to collaborate and support an awareness program of your choice. The connection for Iota Phi Lambda Sorority as an organization, is to understand that without our mental and physical health intact, our communities will not prosper financially, and our families will not be able to sustain future generations. If it is to be, it is up to us to engage and educate our communities through our Programs and Projects. Our Future is Brilliantly Bright! Charlotte D.
