Election in classroom Greece is a democracy country. In elementary education, it is critically important that students learn about voting and elections, and develop the civic competencies to fully engage in the democratic process— whether that is at the community, local, state or national level. In the face of political polarization, students had the opportunities to practice how to engage with people and ideas across difference. That being said, schools need to be places that champion civility, equal rights, safety and civic action for social change. https://emathisi.weebly.com/ blog-2019-20/7942088

Project evaluation Evaluation from educators of the project Teachers4Europe: Eu4all, a workshop on Democracy Summary of the results from teacher's feedback The teachers find their participation in the project beneficial. They agree that the benefits from their participation in the project are significant regarding the collaboration and communication among educators from other countries, the encounter and use of collaborative tools and the development of their technology skills. All of the educators agree that we achieved the project’s goals on the fields of the knowledge we aquired about EU democratic constitutions, development of students' technological skills as well as collaboration and interaction among them. They spent a lot of time for the project in their class and the project's subject was a great idea that inspired them for the activities. Due to the pandemic some activities were differentiated and the students participated from home. All the educators were happy and satisfied about their participation in the project. They believe that it was a really interesting project for both the kids and the teachers, fully integrated to the curriculum, well organised, with many collaborative activities. Last but not least they used the english language in real communication situation. That is another one reason that project will continue into the next school year. To sum up, the educators are satisfied about their participation in the project and they feel proud that this project has come to an end according to the initial schedule. They feel that they have contributed successfully in the creation of many collaborative products and that the collaboration between the partner schools was really fruitful. Ιn order to spread the results of our project in our schools and the local communities we have organized a collaborative magazine too.
