A little bit about me? H e y there. Iskra here. Just got into my twenties. Super geeky Graphic Designer. Design isn’t a career path – it’s a state of mind. Typography is King. Artistic nature. An out of the box thinking and eccentric perspective makes for great ideas. Always up for a fun debate and ready to make a crucial point. Friendliness and easy-going casual attitude are a huge part of me. Nothing but honest opinion, sometimes even too direct. Courage to be myself and proud to be different, definitely my own person.

Graphic design is a powerful communication tool, hence why I was taken on-board for the “bringing Marley Coffee to Denmark project. I was granted the responsibility for the design of all commercial materials: posters, stickers, cups etc. Check it out here: http://bit.ly/1tqm7vt

Art Director Food Festival Feb 2014 - >
As Art Director at Food Festival my main concerns are improving the current visual identity, designing of a new, better, more user-friendly and easy-to-navigate website, as well as producing a yearly magazine which would be the crossing point between art and gastronomy; and of course other visual communication adhoc tasks on a daily basis - for both internal and external use.

The idea behind this piece was 100% initiated by the client who shared their vision and requested certain elements to be included, but let me be entirely free in terms of style and execution. The design was inspired by the closed shape of tattoos and watercolor landscapes.

The idea behind this app is to help Danish kids learn to write the alphabet. In order to do that a whole universe must be created, consisting of all sorts of elements. I started off at a brand identity: color and type scheme, then developed the logo and mascot, which determined the overall style.

Print design is my favorite media. It combines my love for art and aesthetics with the communication possibilities and functionality of design. During my stay at Food Festival I had to produce many and diverse types of designs including prints for internal use and of course the official magazine.
WHY HIRE ME?
Something extra, if you’re not already convinced
Always evolving skills The “comfort zone” is overrated, so I spend my time outside of it as often as I can. Else, how will you learn anything new or improve on what you already know?
Task-dedicated Multitasking is a myth, I take one task at a time, one bite at a time and I don’t stop until it’s perfect and it makes everyone happy.
Highly-organized Some call it OCD, I call it perfectionism found in order. Plus it makes everything easier to find.
