I.S. Video Chosen By PBS Hawai‘i

PBS Hawai‘i chooses six studentproduced segments out of sixty submissions to feature on a special program, Best of Hiki Nō. You might recall Gabe Figueroa’s story on Luke Evslin, which was aired last January on Hiki Nō. Gabe’s video was selected for the “Best of” program, and will be aired on Thursday at 7:30 on Hiki Nō, channel 11. Tech teacher, Nathaniel Evslin, was flown to the studio on O‘ahu to be interviewed, and taken out to dinner afterward. Island School will be hosting Hiki Nō on May 9, giving our students the opportunity to introduce each segment on that episode and to prepare short clips highlighting Island School.
