Breaking News Report Cards Going out Tomorrow

Report cards will be emailed to parents on Friday, March 14, in the afternoon. Students in grades 6-12 will also be emailed report cards. If anyone would like a hard copy, please email a request to katie.magoun@ischool.org.

Conference Sign-Ups

Student/Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, March 27, beginning 12:30 p.m. and Friday, March 22, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday is a half-day of classes. School lunch will not be served on Thursday. There will be no classes on Friday. Elementary parents may schedule their conference by signing up on the sheet outside of their teacher’s classroom. Middle and High school parents should fill out the attached form on page 5 to indicate the teachers with whom they’d like to meet. We strongly encourage parents and students to take advantage of this opportunity to touch bases with their teachers and set goals for the next trimester.

Register for Lei Workshops (Sat. March 15 & April 5) Presented by Kaua‘i Museum

Award-winning lei maker Happy Tamanaha will hold workshops on Saturday, March 15, and April 5, for keiki ages 5 - 18. The deadline for Saturday’s workshop is today. See flyer on page 7.

Luck of the Leprechaun March 27 for PK-5 (see page 6)

Student Government will be entertaining PK-5th grade children on the first day of conferences directly after school is dismissed until 3 p.m. Lunch and activities are included. Cost is $10 for one child, $15 for two and a family rate of $20 for three or more. To sign up, stop

Update of On-Campus Autos

Please do not park on or drive across areas where students can walk or play. Motor vehicles should park outside the boundary poles and never park under trees or within 15 feet of any building at any time. Loading and unloading may be permissible under certain conditions but vehicles are not allowed to remain parked on the grass and must be moved to a designated parking area. Family Work Day Next Week Saturday, March 22

Family Work Day is on Saturday, March 22, 8:30 a.m. to noon, with lunch and refreshments included. Please RSVP your attendance and direct your questions to Mike Goto (mike@ischool.org). Recruiting Kamehameha Scholars: Apply by March 31

Current 8th-11th grade Native Hawaiian students may apply for the Kamehameha Scholars program. It focuses on college and career guidance and also offers an opportunity to earn a Merit Scholarship. Vote Voyagers as the ‘Team of the Week’

Support spring season sports (track and field, tennis, golf and boys volleyball) and vote a Voyager team to become Grove Farm’s “Team of the Week.” Each week, until the end of the KIF season, Grove Farm will donate $50 to the respective high school that is honored as the “Team of the Week.” To vote and for more information, go to http://www. grovefarm.com/teamoftheweek.
