Rock-A-Thon Fundraiser April 12-13, Seeking Rocking Chairs and Chaperones
The sophomore class will be participating in a Rock-A-Thon, where they will be in rocking in chairs for 24 hours, from 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 12, to 12:00 noon on Sunday, April 12, in the school’s Main Hall. This effort is to raise funds for the sophomore class gift. Their ambitious goal is to provide a full Island School scholarship by the time they graduate. Students are seeking sponsors to donate for the hours they spend in their chairs. If anyone wants to support the class, contact a sophomore student and feel free to support the students as they rock for 24 hours! They are also looking for rocking chairs to borrow and chaperones to volunteer for the event. Contact Sophomore Class President Brianna Griep (bgriep16@ischool.org).
