Summer Job Openings On Campus
Mike Goto has announced two openings for summer hire work at Island School for high school students. Work consists of painting, washing, scrubbing, polishing, etc. Hiring will be done on a first come, first served basis. Pay depends on work experience and history. Must be able to work hours as assigned, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. each weekday except holidays, from June 17 to August 9. Contact Mike at mike@ischool.org to apply.
“Doctor Who” On Stage Next Weekend

Middle School Drama is in final preparations for their stage adaptation of Doctor Who. The show runs Friday, May 17, at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 18, at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Admission is free; donations are accepted.

Orientation Meeting for Parents of 8th Graders
May 21, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Designed to inform families and ease the transition from middle to high school. Adie Siebring will talk about how to build a strong transcript and GPA, as well as earning credits for graduation. Homework expectations and successful time management strategies will also be addressed.
