Gift Wrap Sale Wraps Up Tuesday

All order forms, money and checks (made out to Island School) must be turned into homeroom teachers by the end of the day on Tuesday. Don’t forget, online orders may be taken all year round. Help Needed at Cross Country Meet

Island School is hosting three cross country meets this year, the first being on Saturday September 28th. The Athletic Department is in need of volunteers to cover the course. Volunteers will need to meet at the soccer field no later than 7:45 a.m. The meet should be finished by 11:30. Please email Jen at jenp@ischool.org if you are able to assist. No experience needed.

Young Global Scholars Program at Yale

An intense academic summer program designed to provide talented high school students with interdisciplinary insight, global awareness, and critical skills for becoming leaders inside and outside the classroom. We are fortunate to have six-time Grammy award winning ukulele and slack key guitarist, Daniel Ho, perform on Art Day at our Art Walk. That evening, he will perform at Island School in the Wilcox Gymnasium in concert. Tickets are available in the Office for $20; $30 at the door. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Island School.

Marine Voyagers Open Water Certification Class

Interact Club Plans Community Service Projects

Our Interact Club is looking forward to a full year of service. Interact is an international service organization sponsored by Rotary Club. Our club plans and implements projects in support of non-profit organizations on Kaua‘i such as Nana’s House and the Humane Society, and volunteers at Rotary events. Watch the Parent Connection for announcements of how our high school students are giving back to the community.
