Christmas Old & New

All four of Island School’s choruses team together on Tuesday, Dec. 13, to present “Christmas Old and New,” their fourth annual Christmas choral concert. Our singers have been preparing since August to present this evening of holiday music, which features students on violin, electric bass, guitar, percussion instruments, and, of course, ukulele. The concert revives some of the chorus’ most popular songs from years past as well as new pieces. Additionally, it explores both old traditional Christmas classics and new contemporary holiday melodies. This year’s chorus is the largest in Island School history with over 100 students in grades 4-12 participating. The concert is at KCC Performing Arts Center, at 7:00 p.m. Adults are $10, students grades 4-12 are $5, Children grade 3 and under are free. Tickets are available in the Office and at the KCC box office as space permits.
