Study Rooms Nine rooms are now available to reserve for private study for Indian Trails Library cardholders. Rooms may be reserved in person for up to two hours. The Makery Kids can put their imagination to use in The Makery, where art projects, Lego, Lite Brite and magnetic walls will keep everyone entertained and learning.

Our new drive-up window lets you pick up books you have requested to be put on hold. Simply tell us when you reserve a book where you want to pick it up.
Welcome to the New Picture Book Collection Walk around our picture books and you’ll notice some changes to make browsing easier for you and your child. Face Out Shelving All picture books now face “out,” so you can easily see the book covers. Both you and your child will love looking at the covers and deciding what to check out.
How to Find a Book • Look for the color that matches the category you want to read. • Look at the label on the front cover to find the subject of the book.
Category Shelving Does your child love animals or trucks? Do they want to know more about dinosaurs? Our picture book collection has been reorganized into categories to make finding books easier and enjoyable. Discover a new book simply by browsing!

Earn volunteer credit for National Honor Society, 300 Club, or college scholarships. High school students serve as summer reading volunteers and work with the library on special projects and events. Volunteer opportunities are available year-round.

School’s out, so why not volunteer for our Reading By Design summer reading program? Each volunteer accepted into this popular program must commit to at least one 2-hour weekly shift and attend a training session in late May or early June.
