COMING SOON: A New Interactive Sensory Wall for Children at The Library’s Early Learning Area
Inspiring changes are coming to our library’s Youth Services area. Monies raised through community donations to the Foundation have enabled the design, fabrication, and installation of an interactive sensory wall. The Wonder Wall is designed to engage young minds and enhance the learning experience for children, caregivers, family and friends.
It represents an extra sensory zone designed to stimulate the minds of young visitors through tactile and visual elements, enhancing their sensory processing systems. Engaging with this interactive wall unlocks numerous developmental benefits for the children involved.
Thanks to the support of our community and generous donors, the production of the interactive sensory wall is currently in the fabrication stage. The Wonder Wall promises to be a meeting place for learning and growth. Look for it this fall at your library.
ON THE COVER
Inclusive play space items have been installed in the early learning area in Youth Services. Discover a distortion mirror, bubble wall, giant water beads tube, infinity light panel and moveable liquid floor tiles.
