CREATIVE, RESOURCEFUL AND FLEXIBLE

F

ELECTION DAY Tuesday, November 3, 6 am-7 pm Precincts 17 and 79

inding ways to connect with our members during Covid-19 has called for us to be creative, resourceful and flexible. As many in our community are staying in touch through online chats, emails, texts and phone calls, library staff are doing the same with members and each other.

PROGRAM INFO

We’ve been using Zoom to host many of our programs, which are recorded and uploaded to YouTube for viewing. If you missed a program, you can view the video of most programs on the library’s YouTube channel. We’re excited to hear from members about their experiences with virtual programs and services:

All programs listed are presented online. There will be no on-site programs through December. Use this key to reference the style of program you will experience.

“ I appreciate the social interaction as well as mental stimulation from the book discussion...especially during the quarantine.” “ The thing I enjoy most about the Stitch Together meetings is getting to see people that I normally visit with in the Launch Pad!” “ COVID-19 didn’t stop our kids from enjoying a summer reading program, thanks to Indian Trails Library for making it possible. The new way of this year’s summer program is best and unique.” Technology has made it possible to continue providing many library services. We are grateful to continue to meet your needs and stay connected. In a few weeks we will post a link to a survey on the website asking how you are accessing the library and your preferences for helping us keep in touch with you. I hope you’ll take the time to share your thoughts.

IN THIS ISSUE

1 Always start at itpld.org/events. 2 Find your program on the calendar. 3 Click and follow the prompts. You may have to download Zoom and/or register in Zoom. Registration with a valid email address is required for all Zoom programs. A confirmation email from the library will include a link to join the program. If you do not receive a confirmation email, check your spam folder or contact the library via live chat on our website or call 847-459-4100.
