INNOVATION IN AVIATION
In 2003, a Bulgarian born Canadian Ivan Kristoff, aka Spiderman, performed World's First rope access on the top of the world's tallest structure. 20 years later, in 2023, he will introduce a new chapter in the history of aviation
Through strong international partnership with leading technological companies and academic institutions around the world, he will increase the S.O.S. capacity to address the challenges in vertical and aerial rescue at extreme heights and create new opportunities for emergency responders to benefit from an internationalized learning experience. FOR THE FUTURE...
Ever since last century, extreme rope access technicians first look up at the top of the CN Tower, the tallest tower in the world, we dreamed of working up there.
Back in in 2003, that dream became real when the first human set foot on the exterior of the Antenna Mast – the tallest in the world, the top of the CN Tower. That was me with the Bulgarian Air Force, pilot's suite with which we set the world record for rappelling and ascending on a rope from a flying helicopter.. And when I stood up there on the top of the urban world, I realized what would be the challenges for a steady helicopter hovering maneuvers and precise rope rescue or aerial extraction of people.
At the Inter Drone Expo, I will present my vision for innovation in aviation.
“IF I CAN DO THE WORLD'S FIRST ON TOP OF THE URBAN WORLD, I CAN DO IT ANYWERE. AT HEMS.FORBULGARIA .COM FORUM, WE WILL SHOW HOW WE CAN ACHIEVE INNOVATION IN AVIATION”
