The target audience for this specific wayfinding project comprises of contract administrators, project managers, accounts departments, receptionists and company owners, we know there is a need for clear forms. What are the issues? Lack of direction, lack of interest in document, delay in signing, miscommunication and incorrect information submitted are some of the flaws that can be eliminated through a well thought through form.

RATIONALE - PROGRESS CLAIM > In order to release payment to a supplier for a project, the client must see a Progress Claim. > If the supporting information in the Progress Claim is not clear or easy to understand, the payment will be rejected. The form will need to steer the person to the primary purpose of the form which is accept the invoice based on the agreed amount. A strong, concise layout of the supporting information progress claim will foster confidence in the claims authenticity and professionalism of the firm.

In consistent layer grid pattern, the project contact needs to be named in all capitals. Use initial followed by the surname and the company represented. The signature is preceded by the scanned version of the hand written signature.

Now we come to the column section. Ensure that the title of each attached document in the progress claim is filled into the respective cells. Note the Item number in the left hand column and the subject line in the second column to the right. The item numbers are not in order of importance.

The healthy left and right hand margin is followed through to the company footer branding below the authorised project contact signature.
