Masters of Architecture RIBA Part 2
Project: Future Gaming Museum
We view art in order to escape our own skins, to get outside of the commotion inside of our skulls – Kilroy J. Oldster, Dead Toas Scrolls – 2016.
Escapism is a desirable need sought after within modern society. Constructs, demands and social norms of the modern age can often leave this demand unmet. Located in Huddersfield by July 2033, intertwining with Nintendo Entertainment System’s 50th anniversary, The Future Gaming Museum offers a desirable outlet for escapist fantasies to become reality.
This proposal aims to bring Huddersfield into the epitome of futurism through a visionary design reimagining traditional gaming. . A unique selling point of this advanced architecture is showcased through Mojos VR contact lenses, which aim to encourage people of all ages from all walks of life to a revolutionary experience.
