THE SECRET SOCIETY OF KIDNAPPED KNIGHTS Award Winning Print Production
An invitation set designed for a secret society that pushes the limits of language, materials and execution. The set includes the Invitation, RSVP, Save the Date, Ticket to enter, and Promo piece. The Society of Kidnapped Knights is a made up society that contains members of both men and women and comes from the idea that during the crusades these individuals were kidnapped and forced to fight. A group of the survivors realized their lives had been changed forever and founded the secret order to help defend their network against human trafficking. The invitation set is for an annual award ceremony recognizing its most outstanding members. Since their life is on the line, I decided to make the invitation set extremely secret and design a new language for the society. The language is based on the National Cherokee Symbols and each syllable of every English word is then translated to a new symbol for the Knights. The event is on January 9th, 2021 at the Dromo Castle in Ireland at midnight. ZALIG & ZACHT
Award Winning Packaging A coffee brand identity based on The Netherlands culture and Dutch design. Drawing inspiration from the Dutch style seen in the work produced by Studio Dumbar, the colors of The Netherlands flag accompanied by orange, and the fearless typography that is explored by the Dutch, I was able to create a brand that best communicated this culture. Each coffee bag design consists of the Dutch translation for “Light” “Medium” and “Dark” roast coffee, along with their descriptions of the coffee in Dutch towards the bottom of the bag. The pattern seen throughout the packaging was inspired by Dutch design found throughout the Netherlands and used alongside their government vehicles.

BACCHUS BEER
Branding, Packaging Bacchus Beer is inspired by Brennan Bacchus and his revolutionizing impact he had on Mardi Gras in the 1940s. The irresistible IPA was designed for the audience to feel as if they are in a joyous, carnival atmosphere any time of year. Laissez Les Bons Temp Rouler with every fresh sip! The packaging of the four pack consists of a detailed, bitmap design that displays a distressed Mardi Gras pattern communicating the inspiration drawn from the 1940s. Alongside the box, the labels shown on the beer bottles are bitmapped images from the 1940s Bacchus parade with the logo serving as the neck label design and the slogan serving as an addition to the primary label.

RESTORATION HARDWARE ANNUAL REPORT Award Winning Print Publication
An annual report designed for Restoration Hardware from the year 2018. RH is an upscale home furnishings company that sells products through their stores, catalogs, and on their website. The company has over 36 locations in the United States and Canada, and I visited the location in New Orleans to take personal photography of the retail store. The handmade annual report communicates a sleek, simplistic design for the company. Each page was designed from the 2018 pdf annual report, and produced for a more regal, appropriate representation of RH. The cover of the publication is fabric that is similar to the fabric RH sells in their retail stores, and is accompanied by bronze accent corners. Throughout the report, there are charts and graphs designed to communicate the company’s performance for an investor in a clear, visual manner. Words chosen such as “simplicity” and “perfection” describe the atmosphere and overall aesthetic of Restoration Hardware, and is carried over into the design and photography of the report.

HAND CRAFTED RESISTANCE CAMPAIGN Illustration
For this campaign, I was able to take an aggressive approach to communicate against over the counter birth control. Upon research I was able to take into consideration the two sides on this touchy subject: lowering teen pregnancy, or posing danger to women’s overall health. Throughout my design, I utalized different materials such as: pills, the birth control packaging, and a tarp that mimicks a body bag. Ultimately, my message communicates that without a doctor’s approval, not being knowledgable on what this drug is capable of can possibly lead to death. The consequences outweigh the convience of the easy-access purchase.

DESSERT DASH BOARD GAME Branding, Illustration
A board game designed for kids ages 3-6 and was based on the gameplay of candy land. Dessert Dash explores the desserts of different cultures while providing an exciting, sweet adventure for little girls. The game includes the board, playing cards, dessert game pieces, and the box. The pieces symbolize desserts that are found within the game, while the cards display an inviting and bright baking pattern on one side with the trail spaces on the other. Similarly to candy land, the children must begin with their desserts in the oven, and the first to lay their dessert on the serving table wins! For photography purposes, I was able to take this game to a local elementary school and capture a few photos of little girls actually playing the game. Watching the little girls giggle and smile, capturing these images truly brought back unforgettable childhood memories!

EMILY DICKINSON BOOK COVER Award Winning Illustration
A book cover design for Emily Dickinson based on the poem “Hope is the Thing with Feathers.” The cover consisted of tea stained paper, hand painted display type, and gold stamped feathers to communicate how her poem is interpreted to the audience. The paper was stained, painted and stamped before being scanned in to add additional content type about Emily Dickinson as an individual and poet. This liquid media project, pushed the limits of materials while communicating what Dickinson’s poem truly represented.

MERAKI’S TO GO FOOD TRUCK Branding, Packaging
A branding project designed for a Greek food truck located on a college campus. The system consisted of: an identity, a tray, a box, a cylinder wrap, point of purchase items, and a wrap on the truck. Since the audience of my food truck included college aged students (18-25 year olds), my identity contained bright colors and Greek pattern inspiration. Focusing on the blue and green as refreshing Greek colors, I tied in the orange and pink to allude towards its appetizing factor. The packaging for each of the items display the brand in a variety of ways. From tray designs, to cylinder wraps, to sticker designs, I was able to present the brand in the most functional way possible for the students that would be carrying their food on the go.

COVID JOURNAL Publication
A personal publication dedicated to our experience throughout Covid 19 in the year 2020. The publication includes many hand written elements as well as personal photography throughout the year. Throughout telling different stories and sharing personal emotions, I was able to allow the reader into a glimpse of my life. The journal itself is contained within a folder, while each season of life “Spring Semester, Summer, and Fall Semester” are seperated by tabs.

THYME BOUTIQUE AD CAMPAIGN Social Media
An ad campaign designed for Thyme Boutique, a local Hattiesburg store, that highlights a specific item sold at the store. For the campaign, I chose to highlight the On Cloud Hi Edge Tennis Shoe and communicate the product by showing confident women at different locations participating in multiple day to day activities. The slogan for the campaign communicated “Confidence through Comfort” and each ad displayed a similar universal aesthetic of the mesh texture seen on the On Cloud shoe. Along with the static ads, the motion ads also appropriately communicate to the audience the overall theme of the campaign. The upbeat music, transitions, and color scheme tie the overall ad campaign together and include women who would be similar to those buying the On Cloud shoe!

DUNKIN
Motion Graphics An animated logo for Dunkin using elements of the brand to create an exciting, energetic logo. Giving the logo fun characteristics, such as splashing into a pool of milk at the end of the animation provides an inviting atmosphere that the audience is sure to enjoy.

OZARK TV INTRO Motion Graphics
A tv intro to the Netflix Series: OZARK. Using clips from the series, and different motion graphic techniques, I was able create an intro that followed the same universal aesthetics that the series represents. Money laundering and violence can be seen throughout the use of different type transitions and overlays. Scan the QR code at the bottom of the next page to be immediately directed to the tv intro.

SCRIBBBLES
Senior Capstone This online organization illustrates the need for creative at home projects, while opening the door for mentorship through creativity from the parents. The company’s overall goal is to use expressive art to help heal, while creating a bonding experience for the child. Additionally, the materials used throughout the projects help provide sensory experiences that unfortunately, many foster children have lacked most of their lives. Each of the kits include: the materials for the project, a step by step instruction guide, an activity card for the guardian, a poster sent in the first month’s package, and collectable reward stickers. Along with the kit collateral, two motion graphic ads and a website were created for the organization.
