Sneak a peek at what’s happening behind the creatives

Directed by : Guy Ritchie Produced by : Matthew Vaughn Written by : Guy Ritchie

Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels Image, screen capture

Have you ever felt rather confused but somehow you simply can’t turn away? Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels will give you that tad of confusion. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the movie was filled with cockney slang that contributes much of the ruggedness of the characters. With great amount of violence, but there’s some rare bizarre twist that makes you giggle, along with the smart sarcasm punch that compliments the movie’s intelligent. Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels is a tale where selfnarcistic gambler took a wrong turn and lost £500,000 to a crime lord. In order to pay the debts, Eddy and his friends decided to rob another gang crew that happens to be around their flat next door. Guy Ritchie as the director was greatly influenced by his own hero, Tarantino, making the movie feels as if its an homage to Tarantino and a lot of other movies that are often being compared with its wittiness. The struggle of the movies however lies within the unexplored connections within the characters, perhaps due to the pressure they faced, serving only occasional calm before the storm scenes, making this a perfect movie for a guys night out. The movie explores the chaos of the violence the characters had to encounter or acted out, as the dialog is rarely sugar coating the issue, making it almost intimidating. You either confront the issue, or beat the issue head on, or anyone that causes the issue.

Anton is notoriously known as the corky, perhaps borderline cooky, but that is probably the one factor that draw people into his creations. “Chaos to me is simply a state of mind, I believe and seize chaos, therefore chaos doesnt exist in my life” said a voice that was filled with sardonic humor. Anton believes in desconstructing the subjects and looking at every pieces with different angles, without altering it away from its natural form. “Beauty to me is when things are just the way it is. Eliza is the queen of flatlay. What is a flatlay you may ask? It is the art of placement where every mess will simply look like they are Romeo and Juliet. On a first glance however, you may wonder what her occupation is. Is she a style blogger? A stylist? An entrepeneur? A florist perhaps? All of the answers above are just pieces of Eliza that she carefully cultivated to create a career in the creative industry. Eliza has established herself as a visual artist, and the founder of flower atelier brand called Petals and Vine. She was an interior design graduate from Singapore, and went back to Medan with a lot more shock than she hoped for, knowing that it will be an entirely challenging journey to establish a business in an artistically stiff and stagnate little old town of Medan. But that didn’t stop Eliza to strive for more. If you sneak a little peek into Eliza’s version of wonderland of workspace, it will be decked out for her ever-changing-always-exciting flatlay posts on her instagram. She definitely owns the Midas touch, what Eliza carefully place together, always comes to life. “I find flatlay to be very therapeutic, it helps to sort out my priorities, and I can see where things belongs at, to highlight their best characteristics. You can mesh the hard with the gentle ones, so every thing has their own balance and it is not overwhelming for the eyes, and as for me

When it comes to conceptualized flatlay, you really need to grasp what is the message you want to send the audience. Which items needs to be exposed, which ones are best to neutralize the mood and which one is simply an add ons. out of desperation or simply sinful sloths. Whatever it may be, Medan is not the city of art, that we know. But that doesn’t mean there is no great artist amongs us. I started simple, I drew out of desperation and found solace in it. We live in a chaotic, messy world, but if we just give it a chance, it is surprisingly beautiful. Like in a rock concert you see, where the crowds are high on the rhythms. All you wanted to do will be to crowd-surf, a 360 degree curved balls that will land you on top of the crowd and it feels as if you’re on top of the world’.Some of us may wish to live a simpler life where we are free from drama and transgressions, but how will that affect our creativity? Can we become a better artist? Harry Putra is one of the many rare gems who embraces chaos. He believed that through many adversities, you began to see the path that you have taken with a clear mind, where you can truly appreciate the process of chaos. It seems quite the contrary but in the current state where people want everything to be instantly done, progress and process aren’t being appreciated enough, therefore beauty are left rotten in the midst of a breakthrough. “Just remember that when you create with passions and authenticity, it is going to take time. A long time, and we might not want to hear or see it. Some people refuse to commit to the long journey, they don’t want to hear how hard it is for you to create your art or the long hours of training yourself. The practice to perfect a simple point, and to master the whole process that are actually endless. The process is chaotic because there will always be someone new, someone better, so the practice never really stops. It will never be a quick snap of a finger, but always put authenticity above all, and your ideas, all the beauty that was once a mess, will transcend”.

It’s so bad that it’s good. nasi padang. Two words, four syllables, one thing that haunts those who is on strict diet, and for those who lives outside Indonesia can hold on to the memory of different spices and herbs that forms the dream marriage. nasi padang, is typically served with many side dishes, fried chicken, fried fish, rendang, assorted vegetables, and with the right kind of chilly that has become instrumental in achieving maximum satisfaction. When we think of nasi padang, we rarely thought of how the food will look, or how pretty would it look on our instagram. With nasi padang, taste is all the rage. With different restaurants putting their own spin and tradition, nasi padang has become the staple cuisine.

If you have been percolating over ideas on how to give your daily mundanes a little sizzle, seek no more. Ican Harem has all the answer and it is hellisly easy in conception. Wear one of his design or paint the city with his specialty paint, you might just be your own Marvel hero. Icam’s streetwear pieces has been worn by many, however he denies that it is a streetwear nor any labels. It is simply the pieces he made that are from the street, the music, the people, all from different walks of life. Icam Harem’s journey began in high school while attending a religious school and through college, with fashion running through his wild veins. With his style that disrupts the typical-cookie-cutter-theme, it’s no wonder the cool kids on the block wears his design as their identity, as their own message to signify their je ne sais quoi attitude. The beauty of Ican’s philosophy is simply his desire to be an individual, to stand out, to be different. Throughout his career, the struggles that will 32

If you think about it, from when we were an infant, we have always been encouraged to have a strict routines, everything in our lives in somehow controlled with the believes that everything is for our best interest. The island of Sumatra has always been known as a place where vast resources can be found, as investors all around the world wanted to have a taste of our Sumatra beans, yet somehow the art industry still suffers. Art simplify the chaos in life, but have we been the only chaos that needs tidying up? Rizky believes that beauty can be found through things that has an artistic and a philosophical elements that made it into something beliavable, the reason behind the creation and the impact that it triggers. From a personal beauty campaign for Putri Mentari Sitanggang as Medan’s candidate in one of the the most prestigious beauty campaign in Indonesia. We are also very happy to continue a lasting journey with Furastasse, with a brand new ambassador Nikita Kusuma, with her vibrant personality that brings out the excitement of the brand. We are also developing our skills tremendously when it comes to digital media management, handling Amora’s account, an e-commerce that specializes in korean cosmetics. Aside from beauty brands, we also get to work with SPM

(Sumber Pratama Metal). With SPM, we aim to modernize the look of the brand and bringing the 21st century to a brand that helps us repurpose metal waste, proving there is nothing that can actually go to waste, everything has its own usage when treated properly.

SYPNOSIS

Sneak a peek at whats happening behind the creatives.

When it comes to finding the right look for the ambassadors, we had the most fun working with Nikita who posses the youth and excitement suitable for the younger millenials With the rapid of growth of brands, it allows us to bring out different influences that unify both the power of visual and personalities. That concept also applies to even the tiniest matters such as, placement of logo in business cards, and the right materials to bring out the extra factor to make the brand a one of its kind.
