Kayak – Youth Kayak Camp Over five days, learn how to paddle a sea kayak, tip over, get back into a kayak, brace, tow another kayak, read charts (maps), and predict tides. Participants will explore Victoria’s most picturesque lakes as well as the ocean shorelines in our area. Safety, skills and lots of fun are the focus of this program. No experience is required. Mini Mudders Boot Camp ( 9 –14 yrs) If you like obstacles, mud, and having mountains of fun then you’re going to love this camp! Funding Opportunities • Campership Program – The Victoria Campership Fund provides funding to financially disadvantaged families living within the City of Victoria’s municipal boundaries. Forms are available at the front desk.
• Canadian Tire Jumpstart – Jumpstart’s core purpose is to enrich the lives of kids (from 4 to 18 years) in need through sports and physical activity, by assisting with registration costs for sports programs at Crystal Pool.

Sports Camps Eli Pasquale Basketball Camps Eli Pasquale has been bringing basketball to the community since 1984! This summer, campers have the choice of a half-day or a full-day camp. Campers will learn Eli’s Guard Series and Miracle Circuit, improve one-on-one skills and develop offensive and defensive skills for play. Byte Camp – 2D Video Game Design ( 11–14 yrs) Learn how to build an HTML5 game from the ground up using awesome free tools. This is a coding camp, so be prepared to challenge yourself and learn some new skills. Learn to create advanced 2D vector artwork and animated character sprites to make your game look great! The final project is a game you can take home on USB or proudly share with friends online. No previous experience required, however Byte Camp’s Introduction to Coding is recommended. Byte Camp – 3D Animation ( 11–14 yrs) Dreaming of a career with PIXAR? Ever wonder how those awesome 3D animated movies like Shrek, Toy Story and Frozen are made? Spend the week learning how by modelling, animating and telling your own stories in 3D. You’ll use Blender, a wonderful (and free!) 3D software, to design characters that jump off the screen and then make them come alive by adding voices, soundtracks and completing your own animated short film.
