Background In China, a traditional country with over 5000 years history, the topic of sex is always an sensitive one to talk about. Sex education is just Hot potato, which makes parents and teachers very worry. Research shows that more and more teenagers are under the hurt of “SEX”, but why? What’s the reason and how can we change that? From the survey, 75.6% people thinks that “School couldn’t launch effective sex education, while 71% think that’s blamed to the bad information from the Internet. 57.6% of people said that " movies, TV shows involving sex shots too ." Faced with the growing proliferation of adolescent sexual and missing information Education , how to help young people to establish a correct attitude towards sex , master without "color ", " cover up " of knowledge has become a big problem !
Background
AIDS patients in 2012 have been found that the number o young students infections is rising, increased by 1700 cases compared with 2011. AIDS patients founded in China is mainly infected HIV through sexual transmission. At present, China has reported the survival of HIV-infected students are more than 7,000 cases. So far , however , China's adolescent sexual and reproductive health education is limited. By the traditional concepts , some o the teachers and parents also considered " restricted " , and even consider sex education to ugly and dirty, which leads to lack of adolescent health education to a large extent , caused no educational methods order and chaos adolescent sexuality. Due to lack of proper guidance from the school, family and society the "mystery " to the curious or puzzled sexy young boys and girls in particular will blindly self-exploration , information cohabitation thus obtained will inevitably incomplete.
Now we can see the big contradiction: there are mor and more HIV cases that infected through sexual, whil the sex education still doesn’t get much attention to The red gloves therefore established, hoping to influence the society. So that young people can ge regular sexual health education.
Project introduction
RED GLOVES Our project team recruits volunteers from all over the world, who will be carefully selected. We’ll be teaching at primary and middle schools in Beijing. Our volunteers will receive professional training on sexual knowledge and teaching skills by specialists from Beijing Normal University. Designing class syllabus, we work out various interactive formats for the course to achieve greater influence. RG has been successfully operated for many terms and received much help and support from both schools and NGOs. We made our share of contribution to improve the self protection ability and awareness. Today, RG sails again, seeking for more contribution to teenagers’ better tomorrow.

Vision • Through the efforts of university students , help young people to establish a correct concept of sex and learn to protect themselves • Through the discussion with foreign volunteers , to learn advanced concepts and knowledge of other countries sex education and try to come up with new effective ideas to help both countries • To provide project members plenty of exercise , and cultivate their youth leadership • To attract much more attention from the whole society and finally help to build correct sex education system.

Job description Get official training about sex education and then re-design the classes adapted for teenage students and help them to build up a correct attitude to sex Do much research about sex education condition with other trainees and buddies in both trainee’s own country and China. And work out a report Design a sharing events or charity salon to present the sex education report and give your own suggestion and comments

Learning Partners China Youth Network (China Youth Network, referred CYN) is an youth volunteer organization, established for 10 to 24 year-olds students, working in sexual and reproductive health peer education and advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights. China Youth Network was launched by four young college students, with the support of China Family Planning Association (CFPA) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) established in June 2004. China Youth Network is in the high development period. We have a lot of creativity with the world , international organizations cooperated and respected , such as the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH), Marie Stopes International organization (MSI) and the like. China Youth Network is committed to promoting the implementation of the " Programme of Action " in the 1994 Cairo International Conference on Population and Development Conference (ICPD). " Programme of Action " emphasizes sexual and reproductive health is a basic human right and young people 's sexual and reproductive health specific needs must be met.
