A NEW CENTER FOR PRATTSVILLE RESIDENTS
THE BUILDING LIES ALONG THE MAIN STREET OF PRATTSVILLE, TO SERVE BOTH THE TOWN AND PASSERBYS ALONG THE MAIN ROAD. THE BUILDING IS MADE OF CONCRETE AND IS LIFTED FOUR FEET ABOVE THE GROUND FOR FLOOD RESISTANCE.

THE MARKET ACTS AS A CONNECTOR BETWEEN THE MULTIPLE ENTRANCES, WHICH BECOMES A PUBLIC REALM.
GRID SYSTEM
NEIGHBORING BUILDINGS AND LOT LINES DEFINE THE GRID SYSTEM.
THE APARTMENT HEIGHTS ARE ALIGNED WITH NEIGHBORING FLOOR LEVELS SUCH THAT THE BUILDING DOES NOT BECOME OVERLY DOMINANT WITHIN THE IMMEDIATE CONTEXT.
