ABC’s of Flipping Houses The truth about flipping homes is that it will usually take more than a few flips to become comfortable with the process and to be able to make good money . Learning the ABC's of flipping houses is a good place to start: 1. Appraisal. You want an appraisal to reveal the actual value of the home you are thinking to buy now as compared to the price you are paying. 2. Bold Moves. Don't be afraid to make the changes that will catch the eye of the next owner for the property. 3. Can do Attitude. You absolutely must believe you can do this in order to get it done. You will need to stand up to your contractors, vendors etc in order to get the best price. 4. Determination. Flipping houses is not the easiest way to make a living, but it does have the potential to be highly profitable with the right attitude. 1. Excitement. If you can recapture your initial excitement, it will sustain you when thing become difficult or discouraging.

At some point along the way, perhaps in the middle of the night, surrounded in dirty dishes, and half a dozen HORRIBLE lop sided cake pops, accompanied by the feeling of utter disappointment, I looked around at the mess, and came to the life altering realization that my time is worth something: I don't have to be good at EVERYTHING. Baking is obviously not my specialty and I can happily hand over my money and can now now take my new found time and freedom to apply it to something that I do specialize in.
