01 a map of a urban road design, that link each location with centralize radial form. as shown black box represent the central city where density of the people is high. 02 spiral form with complex pattern of a flower. a infinity loop which recreates itself repeatedly, no matter what scale. 03 a grid form with abstract shades of colors to differentiate on each other to create a harmony form. 04 - 05 conceptial radial form of a space, which creates unity and security by forming a centralize space.

06 - 10 as mention earlier, fractals are everywhere. it is creator of life and existence as we know. for instance, a galaxy, a pistill in the flower, curve branches on a vine, a typhoon which destroys the land and a structure of a vegetable which give its rigidity of the elements.

what is facade ?
facade
fenestration
building skin
it is a external element that either carries it own dead load or live load of the building. in general facade has lots of types and way of concstructing but three main types is in-situ, pre-fabricated and intergrated
any opening with holes or void that may penetrate through the building. for instance a glazing on the facade that lets the daylight to enter the space
a building can generally have two types one it is intergrated into the building structure, the other can be just a external cladding which is a secondary component

craft
A mathematical fractal pattern, purpose is to based the proposed programs at measure theon coastline of a continent. As we cannot determine the true length of the coastthe issnowflake permaculture, line.site The koch is a measuring tool. the facade will Based on the site located near chao phraya follow needs, ethics objective of river, the the river line element is used to createand a fractal pattern, as to relate back to the ornathe program mental development. will reflect onto the facade
not only program, the initial pattern development based on theory of fractality is present and intergrated to the facade, both arrangement and scale of each detail of the facade
as craft is the core design principle, traditional craftsmen is retain in its shape and form of the facade. for instance, the material used, the source material and labour of the facade
pattern + facade = dynamic pattern facade

and out, the pattern will remain as the same
Something that cannot be measured, the more the pattern zooms in, the more form and cracks appear. Therefore, infinite of form that cannot be measured. It is known as coastline paradox.

case study 01 : craft building : the center for asian art at the ringling musuem of art architect : Machado Silvetti year : 2016 the façade is composed of deep-green, glazed terra cotta tiles that address the client’s requirement of a new monumental entrance. the façade relates to the natural environment of the Museum’s extensive landscape, and its color and chiseled profile are reminiscent of the Cà d’Zan mansion’s ceramic detailing. the sharp terra cotta forms are intended to evoke the art objects but are also inspired by colors found in nature and the whimsical architectural terra cotta tiling found in the original Ca’ D’Zan. moreover, the exterior is clad in custom green glazed terra cotta rain screen allows for a continuous thermal/moisture barrier to ensure the integrity of the gallery conditions inside. iniscent of the symbolic forms of terra cotta tiles in ancient chinese roof architecture. green glazed skin were crafted to look like handmade quality when light hits the facade.

case study 02 : pattern building : fuzhou strait culture art center architect : PES Architects year : 2018 the building is inspired by the petal of a jasmine blossom hence the city of fuzhou. as the facade follows the curvature of the building that intergrates the public interior space with the landscape of the jasmine gardens. ceramic is used as the main material of the facade due to its significance in the historicalk context of the maritime silk road trade connecttion between china and the rest of the world. the main faรงade ceramic louvre section is lens-shaped, relating to the form used in the massing of the buildings. This also maximizes the shading capacity of the vast glass faรงade

the end of each baguette is outfitted with an aluminum plate adhered with a neoprene layer and shaped to match its profile. Each clip consists of an aluminum “hand” bolted to the ceramic louvers, and an “arm” tying them back to the secondary structural system of double-curved pipes. bar the custom-designed clips, a similar fastening system is repeated between the primary and secondary structural systems; rows of arms, which are adjustable to compensate for installation tolerances, protrude from the main steel columns towards the curved pipes.
