bringing human closer to the nature by harmonizing the two entity. in this, by crafting a new meaning into spatial harmony with a conceptual grammar of ornamentation by designing the skin of the transdisciplinary craft center. “architect should successfully learn to work in partnership with the craftsmen, in order to harvest one whole work of art. ornamentation shouldn’t be reflected in segregation as a mere aesthetic display, but rather a snowballing evolution of culturally defined meaning”.

introduction to thai ceramics thai ceramics refers to ceramic art and pottery designed or produced as a form of Thai art. Much of Thai pottery and ceramics in the later centuries was influenced by Chinese ceramics but has always remained distinct by mixing indigenous styles with preferences for unique shapes, colours and decorative motifs. Thai pottery and ceramics were an essential part of the trade between Thai and its neighbors during feudalistic times, throughout many dynasties.

not only program, the initial pattern development based on theory of fractality is present and intergrated to the facade, both arrangement and scale of each detail of the facade

as craft is the core design principle, traditional craftsmen is retain in its shape and form of the facade. for instance, the material used, the source material and labor of the facade

measure the coastline of a continent. As we cannot determine the true length of the coastline. The koch snowflake is a measuring tool. Based on the site located near chao phraya river, the river line element is used to create a fractal pattern, as to relate back to the ornamental development.

es in and out, the pattern will remain as the same

more the pattern zooms in, the more form and cracks appear. Therefore, infinite of form that cannot be measured. It is known as coastline paradox.

archaeological Heritage of the lenggong valley is one of the longest culture sequences in a single locality in the world. this long culture sequence stretches from the palaeolithic to the neolithic and metal periods, chronometrically dated from 1.83 million to 1,000 years ago. the richness of the archaeological heritage of the lenggong valley has been proven by discoveries of one of the largest numbers of in-situ open-air palaeolithic sites in southeast asia and numerous cave sites over a 20-year period of multidisciplinary and scientific research.
