Morning Light Serigraphy
This piece was the catalyst for my Eyvind Earle series. I look to his work as inspiration to where I want to be as a printmaker. So I decided to emulate the texture he creates with his forest series as a way of discovering new and interesting silk screening techniques.
Winter Dream Serigraphy
My second piece in my Eyvind Earle study, I focused on the winter landscape around me and decided to use window mesh as a way of mark making and texture instead of the wax stencil.
Comedown of Revolving Doors Serigraphy
This piece was dedicated to a set of lyrics out of a song entitled Speed the Collapse by Metric. Portraying a girl falling through these revolving doors into a new land.
A Wondrous Place Serigraphy
My final serigraphy for my grad show project. A selection of three landscapes inspired after a vision of my personal Wonderland Using prisma colours and chinamarker to give more dynamic texture. This piece also pays homage to Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’s 150th anniversary.
