Contestants in the Cambridge Lakes Biggest Loser Competition continue to achieve remarkable results through a combination of healthy eating, positive thinking, and working out regularly at our Fitness Center. We are proud of all the contestants and wish them well as they approach the end of this competition on Monday, March 29th. At the end of March, we will announce the winner of the biggest loser competition at: www.Facebook.com/CLCCPingreeGrove. Contestant or not, our fitness center is currently open to our residents by reservation only. Follow the link to reserve your spot: https://www. signupgenius.com/go/904044BABAF2BA1FDO-2021. Pennsylvania’s most famous groundhog saw his shadow on Tuesday, February 2nd at 7:35 am EST in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Punxsutawney Phil then predicted six more weeks of winter. He also reportedly said, “After winter, you’re looking forward to one of the most beautiful and brightest springs you’ve ever seen.” Matthew, a Cambridge Lakes youth, was the winner of the Punxsutawney Phil’s Prediction Contest. He predicted that America’s most famous weather predictor would send us six more weeks of winter. As winter continued on, throughout the community families were building their version of Frosty the Snowman, carving entry ways into snow mounds, and seen snowshoeing. Residents of all ages had fun building their best creations for the Snow Much Fun Sculpting Contest. Abigail and Lucky, Our Snow Much Fun winners created a wonderful winter wonderland.
It’s always nice to surprise that special someone in your life with treats! In the spirit of Valentine’s Day residents of Cambridge Lakes surprised their sweethearts with personalized Cupid deliveries provided by your hometown favorite The Milk House for our Valentine’s Day Cupid Delivery event. Each Cupid delivery included the following cookies: chocolate chip, raspberry white chocolate, and candy crunch. The CLCA staff personally delivered the Valentine’s to our resident’s. Residents were grateful and displayed big smiles when receiving their surprise. In celebration of Fat Tuesday, residents picked up a variety of gourmet cupcakes personally from Ms. Tittle’s Cupcakes for our Mardi Gras Cupcake Pop Up event at the Community Center. Ms. Tittle’s offered butter cookies, banana pudding and a variety of cupcakes such as: turtle caramel, red velvet, pineapple coconut, and salted caramel. As Ms. Tittle’s would say, it’s “your favorite cake in a cupcake!” As we welcome spring, don’t forget to stay connected within your community by registering on our website at: www.MyCambridgeLakes.com.
