Hello my stitching friends! Are you excited for fall? Did you know it is the official quilting season? We sure are gearing up around here. It has been a great summer, and we are looking forward to an even better fall and holiday season. Let me tell you how wonderful and satisfying it has been to be able to return to our normal lives and the things we love with the threat of Covid feeling less and less. I got to travel to Palm Springs in early July for Bernina University. Yes, it was really HOT, but absolutely worth it seeing so many friends and colleagues again after a two-year hiatus. Bernina dealers are really a close-knit family and that is why we love the brand so much. And did you see that Kaffe machine? Even if you are not a fan, it would be such a joy to sit down to one of these colorful and happy looking machines to sew each time. I was also ecstatic to have the return of two big and “in person” events in our classroom. The OESD events in July were full and fantastic! I truly did not realize how much events enhance what we do here until they were gone. There are so many talented educators out there willing to share themselves and their wealth of special knowledge. We love to see all the joy and fulfillment that, not only learning brings to you, but witness the importance of togetherness and camaraderie that these events can provide. Yes, we all need people!!

Nancy Rink’s best-selling Amish Block of the Month series returns with a fifth rendition marking the 10th Anniversary! In this 10-month Block of the Month, you’ll create twelve sampler-style blocks each in a different Centennial Solids color family (some created just for this program!) from Marcus Fabrics. The blocks are framed in a Midnight Navy background, and it’s all brought together with a rich Boysenberry border for an authentic Amish touch.
This Workshop is designed for experienced beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. Please note that the minimum stitch field required is 8" x 12" to make this project. Your hoop must be big enough to stitch out an 8" x 12" design.
Our program will begin this October 1st for just $20 per month and a $25 non-refundable registration fee. During this 10-month program, you will receive the pattern and fabrics necessary to complete the quilt top, including binding.
