S E T U P
AS YOU can see on the map above there are MANY turns on the Bike and Run Course. When you are a Bike/Run Course Pointer you have the opportunity to help the athletes know what is coming up on the course. These athletes are so focused on just being able to keep moving forward that they may not realize that they have a turn coming up - really! You being out there is a tremendous help to them!

P R O C E D U R E
WHEN YOU arrive at Moody Gardens you can park in any of the marked parking lots on the map below.
AFTER PARKING, make your way to the Information Tent in the West Lot to check in for your shift and receive instructions on where you are needed most.
ONCE YOU are placed on the course we need you to maintain that position for the entirety of your shift. If you need a drink, snack or break please call Jennifer to let her know and someone will be sent to temporarily relieve you
Keep in mind that you will spend most, if not all of your time on your feet Wear comfortable, close-toed shoes, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and anything else you need to be prepared for the expected weather
