S E T U P
THE day before the race, Ironman staff will put all supplies out at the Aid Station Location.
When you arrive Race Morning you will need to set up the tables and tents (if provided). Keep any coolers under the table to help the ice last longer.
ONLY FILL CUPS 1/2 FULL!
BELOW IS an example of how to set up the aid station.
THIS LAYOUT woks best to keep the race flowing and keep the athletes from colliding.
IF THERE ARE SIGNS FOR THE TABLES try to angle the tables so that the signs can be seen by the athletes and they can plan where they are going
DO NOT cool fluids and then place them on the table.
PRIOR to the first runner passing by, only fill a few dozen cups and place on the tables.
AS THE flow of runners increases, the volunteers that are re-stocking the tables can then start to fill up the tables - just not first thing.
PLEASE keep up with any trash as the day goes along. It is important to keep your area clean.
Keep in mind that you will spend most, if not all of your time on your feet Wear comfortable, close-toed shoes, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and anything else you need to be prepared for the expected weather
will provide water, but if you would like something in addition to this, please provide your own.

-We are an outdoor event which means that the event MAY be affected by the weather. This race has experienced temperatures near 40ºF and 95ºF - please come prepared
-All decisions about the race are made in the moment. If it is raining when you wake up on Race Morning you still need to come to the race site
