S E T U P
WHEN YOU arrive on Race Morning the tables and supplies for the Swim Out Aid Station will be staged for you You will need to set up tables and begin cooling down the fluids (water, Gatorade)
WHILE SOME are setting up, one or two volunteers will help organize (by number) the “morning clothes bags” that some athletes drop off.
P R O C E D U R E
DO NOT cool fluids and then place them on the table.
PRIOR to the first athlete exiting the water, only fill a few dozen cups and place on the tables.
AS THE flow of athletes increases, the volunteers that are re-stocking the tables can then start to fill up the tables - just don’t fill up the tables first thing.
PLEASE KEEP up with any trash as the day goes along It is important to keep your area clean.
SOME VOLUNTEERS will be used to help athletes ‘strip out’ of their wetsuits.
Keep in mind that you will spend most, if not all of your time on your feet Wear comfortable, close-toed shoes, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and anything else you need to be prepared for the expected weather

-We are an outdoor event which means that the event MAY be affected by the weather. This race has experienced temperatures near 40ºF and 95ºF - please come prepared
-All decisions about the race are made in the moment. If it is raining when you wake up on Race Morning you still need to come to the race site
