This spring I was complaining about all the weeds in our garden and what a pain it was to get ready to plant our tomatoes. Last weekend we did one more batch out of the garden, and we will probably get up to two more before we are done. We are already at a household record of 79 jars. That means we get to eat two a week!!! They are super good with the Camo Chef Seasoning we have in the store. This has been a banner year for the Williams’ household food preservation efforts. We did all those tomatoes (which by the way we only grew about half of ourselves), our own peaches, pears, and a bunch of corn from Gibson fruit, which is just down the road from us. The totals arePeaches - 20 Quarts Tomatoes - 79 Quarts & counting Pears - 38 Pickled Beats - 2 Quarts Corn (frozen) - 20 Quarts Apricot Jam - 20 Pints I normally man the stove and Michelle deals with prep and stuffing the jars. This year the pears about killed me. I helped peel; and after just one batch, I ended up having to go to the chiropractor—twice—to recover. Then, the next weekend I managed to stick my arm into some steam and I am still showing the damage from that.
Room rates are $100 for the first hour and $50 for each additional hour.
Maybe next year we will skip the pears….
Full days are $300.

Two New FREE Service Auto-Replenish and Auto-Fulfill
Jerrol’s Helps Downtown Rotary Club Put AED’s in Local Schools
In our efforts to find more ways to help your business be more efficient and save time, two new services have been developed. Both were designed to with you in mind.
You might have read the article in the Daily Record last august about Ellensburg’s newest Rotary club’s project to raise funds to make sure a defibrillator (AED) is available in every school in the lower county. This was a perfect project for us to help with.
We call them Auto-Replenish and Auto-Fulfill. Both of these free programs allow you to focus on your business instead of taking time and energy to monitor the inventory of your high volume supplies and placing orders when you get low on an item.
We sell ZOLL AED’s and made a deal with our supplier for a special price and we are providing the schools the opportunity to buy them at our cost. We also donated to project to help reach the fund raising goal.
After all you probably have enough other things to do at work! Auto-Replenish is where we monitor your inventory on the items you choose and reorder them for you at predetermined levels. We use charts to track your usage which allows us to accurately anticipate when we need to place an order for you. Auto-Fulfill is set reorders of items on a regular schedule. The schedule can be adjusted at any time if your usage should change. Both work great for copy paper, bathroom supplies and things you use in larger quantiles and don’t ever want to be out of. Some clients even use it for their air fresheners in bathrooms. Here is just a few of our clients using these services: Inland Networks Trellis Advisors Argonaut Peek Physical Therapy Creative Kids Preschool Winegar’s Home Made Ice Cream & Coffee Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce Catalyst Contact us anytime if you are interested in discussing if either of these FREE services would be a good fit for you. Many clients are finding that they are using less storage space because this allows them to keep less on hand and order just what they need. If you are interested in saving some time and money, give us a call today at 509 925-9851 or 800 858-2427 or email us at Order@Jerrols.com.

Holiday Book Guide This year’s 2016 Holiday Book Catalog is tucked in with your newsletter. It is full of all kinds of ideas for you and those on your shopping list. We have all of these books on display in the store to check out. One tip you might try is to leave the catalog out during Thanksgiving and take notes on what books people find interesting. Easy way to get your holiday shopping done.!!

Corrie’s Craft of the Month Felt Coffee Cozy November is here!! I love all the rich colors and the beginning of the holiday season. Being thankful is such a wonderful way to start. Maybe you have some special people in your life that you want to say, "thank you" to and here is a great way to do it. Coffee Cozies! A cute way to decorate your yummy drink cups. Put the cozy on an empty cup and add a hot chocolate mix or maybe a favorite tea, or even a Winegar's gift card!! Here's what you'll need: Felt (2-3 colors) Velcro (I used the circles) Scissors Hot glue An empty coffee cup (16oz)
This was the fourth month the award was given and we encourage you to submit your nominations and stories about amazing customer service you have received at www.KCCustomerService.com for the next Champion of Customer Service award.

Kittitas County Customer Service We need you to post stories about great service you receive here in Kittitas County and beyond. Every May, there will be the Best in Customer Service Award Banquet, where the best of the monthly Customer Service Champions from the past year will be recognized and the posts from the past year will be made into a book.
1. Start by cutting out your cozy. I found a template online, but you can also just use a paper one from the coffee shop. (just unfold it and there's your template) 2. Next add the Velcro. Put a piece on the edge of one side of your cozy. Then put the opposite piece of Velcro right on top, with the adhesive side sticking up. Wrap your cozy around your empty coffee cup and align the edges so the sticky side of the Velcro aligns with the felt. 3. Decorate your cozy. Here's where you get to be creative. Cut out shapes, (I will put the acorn template on craft of month table @ Jerrol's) cut out words, I even attempted to embroider words on mine. Use one color or many colors. Then hot glue all your pieces into place! There you have it! Fast and fun, for people you care about. Speaking of people we care about, thank you, dear readers. You are the best clients in the world!! -Corrie Ihrke You can reach Corrie at Corrie@Jerrols.com
