Michelle and I finished canning our last jar of peaches from our tree last Saturday, a month earlier than ever before. We only had enough for 24 jars this year—half our normal yearly goal of 52 jars. They were much small this year, which made for extra work on Michelle’s part. She is in charge of the peeling, pitting and stuffing. I get to man (ha ha ha) the stove. They looked and tasted great, more yellow than usual. Maybe the stress of the hot summer had them sweeter? Now it looks like we will soon be on to the tomatoes, something we normally do the end of September. For some reason it seem that our first ripe tomato is always late September. This year we already have bowls full. No complaints about that. We will certainly have everything from the garden finished up long before we need to shift gears and focus on Jordan & Israel's wedding. We are on KRD water and are starting to see even some of the oldest trees around us show signs of distress. With no water other than mother nature until next year it will be interesting (if you want to call it that) to see what happens. Let’s all start thinking of positive thoughts for snow, and remember to keep it positive if the white stuff does start falling. Just think back to this summer of 106 degree temperatures if you need some help!! -Rolf P.S. Turn Your Favorites List Into an Order Form You can create a custom order form in under 5 minutes. This can be a great opportunity to make a major impact on your productivity. You are constantly keeping track of what you need to order using post it notes, scrapes of paper, or maybe a white board. From there you must figure out the item numbers in order to place order. Without those numbers you end up spending time describing what you need to us over the phone or looking for those numbers. Last month you saw how to personalize your favorites list, which is on the top menu bar on your online site. If you want to review that article go to www.Newsletters.Jerrols.com. Even if you don’t order online, we maintain this information internally when you place your order via phone email or fax. This allows us to track items and to keep your order history. We also use it to create your personalized order forms as described below. Once in your favorites list click the Export button. Your favorites list should automatically open in excel. Once in Excel (example 2) I delete the columns I don’t need - A, F, G, I and add a column in the first row to enter in my qty’s. Last I added a quick border and BAM an order form with all the info I need no matter how I order (Example 3). Continued on the next page

Since we focus on your productivity, a huge part of what we do is to go to your office and help make working with us as simple, easy and efficient as possible. Instead of you having to take the time to show a new Team member how you place your orders, we can come do it for you! After all, you have a lot more than just office supplies to show the new person. Why not focus on the other responsibilities and let us do it for you? Especially when time is tight. It is quick and simple. Rarely does it take more than 15 minutes to start, then we check back with you to see what additional help they might need. It is FREE and we would love to do it. Even if you have been doing it for years we might be able to show you a trick or two that makes your ordering easier!!

Picture frame without the glass Fancy paper Modge Podge 3 hooks 13 craft tags Reinforcement labels (white donut stickers) Letter/number stickers 1. Remove the back of the frame and decoupage the fancy paper to it. Set aside to dry. 2. Put a reinforcement label over the hole on each side of the 13 craft tags. 3. Take 6 of the craft tags and write the months of the year with your letter stickers: (front/back) Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr, May/Jun, Jul/Aug, Sep/Oct, Nov/Dec. 4. Take 2 more craft tags and write with your number stickers: (front/back) 0/1, 2/3. These will be the day's first digit. 5. With remaining 5 craft tags write: (front/back) 0/1, 2/3, 4/5, 6/7, 8/9. These will be the day's second digit. 6. Place three tags inside your frame and use them as a guide to mark where to put your hooks. 7. Screw the hooks into the top of the frame. 8. Reattach the back of the frame. 9. Place the tags onto the hooks! If you find they aren't easy to hang you can trim the tops or bottoms to make a perfect fit.
