Edu-On-D-Go SIP group project Taylor’s University Presented by: Jane Yong
POV Per so Adam is a 12-year-old underprivileged kid who lives around Chow Kit.
na
De
ep u nee nmet d He has limited access to
educational resources due to his financial situation.
Int er lea estin g rn He longs to study and gain ing
knowledge together with other children.
We can start a fundraiser where people can donate maybe RM 1 per person to them even though it doesn't seem much but it collectively helps them. Hands-on learning is conducted to help the children understand the syllabus better
Ideation Collaboration between YYS and NGOs to provide job certifications will be highly recommended to increase the employability of underprivileged children
Incentives should be given to encourage the children to participate in academic and cocurricular activities to discover their talents and boost their motivation.
We can reach out to sponsors through email, phone calls or written letters.
Setbacks and difficulties Finance: Coming up with funds to build and sustain the project (construction, maintenance, misc. bills)
Oblivion: oblivion of the public about the issues faced by underprivileged children Time consumption: This projects needs a lot of time and manpower to renovate the truck and container inside out (± 3 months)

THE PRODUCT Our 40 ft. Edu-On-D-Go mobile library consists of several functional spaces such as the study area, kids play area and a quiet room for private studies. Also, there is a counter available for when students require help from tutors. The mobile container carries sufficient tools and materials such as computers, touch screen monitors as well as educational books to help make learning a fun experience for the children. As of the pandemic, we have installed a temperature scanner and hand sanitisers made available for the safety of the children in Chow Kit.
