Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World

August 5 - 11, 2018

COMMUNION

BUMC Music Camp

COMMUNION OFFERING: BENEVOLENCE MINISTRY This month's Communion offering is for the Benevolence Ministry, which provides emergency, short-term financial assistance for those both within our congregation and in our community. This ministry also acts as a bridge to connect recipients with long-term support. You can give during Communion in the offering plates or text BUMCCOM and a dollar amount to 28950 (ex. BUMCCOM 50). If this is your first time giving through text, you will receive a text back with information on how to register.

NEW SERMON SERIES: THE HUMAN PURPOSE

Series begins next weekend What does it mean to have purpose? It’s what changes us from merely existing to living dynamically. You could have everything you want and need, but if you lack purpose, you can miss out on living life in all of its fullness. With so much chaos in the world, it can be difficult to recognize ourselves as God’s very good creation. But in the midst of that chaos, God reveals a blueprint because we are still worth redeeming.
