This weekend we're talking about the Greatest Commandment: to love God above all else, and to love your neighbor as yourself.
MISSI
This week take at least a day to walk your neighborhood. This can be your street or – if your neighborhood is not conducive to walking – perhaps your downtown area. Pray for God to open your eyes. Does God direct your attention to anyone specifically? Simply notice what God shows you. You'll notice three large panels outside of Haney Hall that say PRAY, COMMUNICATE, and INVITE. Each week you come to worship, place a sticker (provided) on a panel to represent how you connected with your neighbors that week. 1 sticker = 1 person connected with through prayer, communication, or invitation. Share how the weekly challenges are impacting you to encourage our church family, and email your stories to Rev. Shelby Slowey at sslowey@bumc.net.

After a week of musical exploration, camp participants will get to perform a one-night-only show of "Esther" for their families and friends. Music Camp is for 2nd – 5th graders (18-19 school year). SOUTH AFRICA MISSION TRIP Join us in prayer for our team traveling to South Africa this week through May 30. They will visit Brentwood Methodist Church, South Africa, and our 3 partner schools while spending time with the Candler School of Theology interns sponsored by BUMC.
