RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE

April 14, 7 a.m. – 1 p.m., BUMC Parking Lot There is one Red Cross Bloodmobile at BUMC this weekend for you to donate blood. The Red Cross will be on campus one hour longer than usual due to having only one truck. Sign up to donate at the table in the Lobby. Donate blood to help save lives!

STATIONS OF THE CROSS bumc.net/Lent April 14-21, times vary (see website for details) The Stations of the Cross is a walking prayer devotional focused on the last hours of Christ's life. The 12 stations allow us to better understand Jesus' journey to the cross and prepare our hearts for Easter Sunday. It takes 30 minutes to an hour to complete all 12 stations. The last rotation will begin 45 minutes before closing time each day.

EASTER INFORMATION • Sunday School does not meet due to parking constraints and traffic volume • Special needs valet parking is available at the 8, 9:30, and 11 a.m. services • Shuttle service is available to and from the lot next to CVS, directly across from Chipotle, on Sunday from 7 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. • Childcare is available for 3 and under at all services but Prayer Vigil and Sunrise Service • A signer will be available at the 8 a.m. service • Off-site parking is available at Brentwood Medical Center, US Bank, and Regions Bank • Please mind our neighboring businesses and do not park in the Jason's Deli parking lot EASTER COFFEE + FAMILY PHOTOS April 21, 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Visit the Family Life Center before or after your Easter service for coffee, family photos, and an opportunity to connect with our BUMC family! BUMC FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP Apply by Monday, April 15 The BUMC Foundation is awarding at least five $2,000 renewable scholarships to students who have been active in the life of our church. One will be awarded to a college senior who plans on graduate work, and at least four will be awarded to high school seniors. Apply at bumc.net/Scholarship. STATIONS OF THE CROSS FOR FAMILIES April 19, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Stations of the Cross for Families explains the events of Holy Week in a way that's appropriate for children of all ages. It takes 30 minutes to an hour to complete all 12 stations. The last rotation will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL June 24-27, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Blast off at VBS! EASTER LILIES It's the final weekend to order an Easter lily to be placed on the altar. Fill out the form at the bottom of your bulletin or order online at bumc.net/Lent. THANK YOU FROM RISE AGAINST HUNGER Thank you to everyone who has participated in our Lenten fasting challenge and helped pack 100,000 meals this weekend for Rise Against Hunger! So far we have raised over $19,500 toward our $32,000 goal! SENIOR RECOGNITION May 12, 8:15 worship service All graduating high school seniors and families will be recognizied during the 8:15 service, followed by a celebration during Sunday School. Congratulations to all our 2019 seniors!
