bumc.net PENTECOST: LOVE OUR REFUGEE NEIGHBORS Pentecost is the day on which the Christian church commemorates the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and others assembled in Jerusalem. It marks the beginning of the Christian church and the proclamation of its message throughout the world. This Pentecost weekend, we celebrate the universal love that God has for his Church by joining in worship with MARIM Church and Legacy Mission Village.

THIS WEEK'S NEIGHBOR CHALLENGE: GIVE

bumc.net/Neighbors According to Dustin Willis and Brandon Clements in their book, "The Simplest Way to Change the World", "Reverse hospitality is where you take something to your neighbor’s house to bless them. This can be delivering soup to your ill neighbor, providing a meal to a family who just brought home a newborn, or taking cookies to someone who just moved in down the street.” This week, you are challenged to give something to a neighbor!

SUMMER OUTREACH bumc.net/Summer This summer, we're partnering with Project Transformation and Harvest Hands to love our school-age neighbors – the students! Read with students during BUMC's Project Transformation Reading Week (July 22-25) or teach a skills course at Harvest Hands Summer Camp (June 10 – July 26). Vist bumc.net/Summer to learn more.
