Get some answers as our pastors tackle some tough questions, submitted by our congregation. Do you have a hero story to share with us? God uses ordinary people to be heroes in other peoples’ lives. We will be sharing stories in various ways and times from May 10 through June 15. Refresh, a Non-denominational Worship Concert Comes to the Community at the Crockett Park Amphitheater, May 18, 7:30 pm. This free concert, benefits GraceWorks Ministries of Williamson Cty with a love offering and food drive. Refresh features three outstanding local worship bands including BUMC’s Jeff Wood (Awakening service).

BUMC Foundation Scholarship Applications Now Available - Deadline is May 1 Each year BUMC Foundation awards at least four $1000 renewable scholarships to high school or college seniors who are participants in the life of BUMC and are planning a career in a helping or caring profession (like teaching, medical field, biblical studies, etc.). Application deadline is May 1. In addition, the Foundation offers the $6,000 Howard Olds Scholarship for seminary students. Individuals eligible to apply for this award are seminary students approved by the Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church, or an adjacent conference, for full-time Master of Divinity or similar education in a United Methodist owned, affiliated or approved educational institution. Snacks needed include: fruit snacks, granola bars, goldfish, teddy grahams, peanut butter crackers and 100 calorie packs. Juice boxes must be 100% juice. Snack sponsorships of $100 are also welcome. The Harvest Hands AAU Basketball Team Announcing the creation of a fourth grade AAU boy’s basketball team! We are looking for fifteen $250 sponsorships, so we can in turn charge only a small participation fee. Sponsorships help cover costs of jerseys, tournament entry fees, and travel.
