Ways to Step Up Step Up! 2012 is our year-long emphasis of five core practices – worship, connect, invite, serve and give -- that lead to a stronger faith and a more vibrant church. See www.bumc. net/stepup for specific things you can do now to Step Up.
Upcoming Sermon Emphasis –– A Journey through the Lord’s Prayer Pastor Martin’s spring & summer sermon emphasis begins April 28-29 at all worship services. Ever notice the first word of the Lord’s Prayer – “OUR”? Find out why that little three-letter word is so important in the world’s most well-known prayer.
Step Up to Connect www.bumc.net/classesandgrouplife As today’s sermon reminds us, Christianity is a “we – not me” religion. Check out these group-life opportunities: • A Summer of Prayer: Check www.bumc.net and the BEAM in May for classes and books to accompany Martin’s sermons on the Lord’s Prayer. • Join one of the 28 Adult Sunday School classes meeting at 9:45 and 11:00.
