2015-2016 Children’s Sunday School Registration

Help us make Children’s Sunday School welcoming and organized for everyone! Register NOW for Sunday school for the 2015-2016 school year so that we can be ready on Promotion Sunday, August 16. Registration is required for 3 year olds (by 8/15/2015) beginning Sunday school and highly recommended for all other ages. 1) Visit www.bumc.net/register or 2) Pick up a card in Sunday School classes.

Adult Sunday School Open House (bumc.net/SundayMorningClasses) 9:30 am - stop by the Guest Services Desk Now’s your chance to sample multiple Sunday School classes -- including their refreshments -- on one Sunday! Stop by the Guest Services desk and you’ll be guided to the classes which might work best for you.

Church-wide Picnic

5 – 7 pm, Front lawn We’ll have good eats from Stroud’s & Music City Ice Cream, plus inflatables, games and music, so make plans to attend. Just bring a lawn chair and you’ll be set.

A big church suddenly feels a lot smaller when you have a group of friends to share life with. New small groups are forming this fall. Come down to the Singles Space and meet small group hosts and get more information.

Human Development Initiative: Christmas in July We were able to supply 850 students in the Greater Nashville area with the necessary supplies needed for the 2015-2016 School Year. Snacks and Juice Boxes Needed

Children’s Ministry Fall Events: • Roger Day Performance: Sunday, August 9 For Preschoolers currently in Sunday school, rising Kindergarten and 1st Grade in preschool area playroom (C building 1st floor)

• Blessing of the Backpacks: Sunday, August 9 For rising 2nd-6th Elementary students and their parents, located in the Family Life Center

• Promotion Sunday: Sunday, August 16 Classes for 2015-2016 are offered for 3-year-olds (must be potty trained and 3 by August 15) through 6th grade. Parents will receive an email the week prior with important information pertaining to your child’s age/grade level. Sunday School begins at 9:30 and dismisses at 10:45. • BUMC Kids Adventures: Begins August 30 Sunday evenings, 5 pm – 7pm, 1st – 4th graders Fellowship, Bible study, fun activities and games.
