December 16 - 22, 2012 A Festival of Carols Tonight, Sunday, December 16 7:00 pm | Sanctuary Members of the BUMC Chancel Choir and The Orchestra at Brentwood will present a Festival of Carols. The concert, conducted by Bill Caldwell, director of Chancel Choir, will feature some of the most beloved of the Christmas carols. The congregation will have the opportunity to sing several times during the hour-long festival of music. It is free and open to the public. Childcare for 3 and under.

The Longest Night: A Service of Healing and Hope Friday, December 21 6 pm in the Sanctuary A special service of prayer and healing for those experiencing loss, divorce, strife, pain and grief during this season.

Communion & Candlelight Christmas Eve Worship Practice hospitality! Park at the Synergy lot and ride the shuttle (1:30 - 7:30 pm) to make room for our many guests in the church parking lot. Inclement Weather Policy If there are cancellations due to inclement weather, they will be posted on our website at www.bumc.net/weather. All the ways to find out about cancellations are listed on the website. In case of inclement weather on Saturday evening or Sunday morning, services and Sunday school will be cancelled. After-school Program Volunteers Needed Once a week commitment, MondayThursday, 4:30-6:00 or Friday from 4:00-5:00. Work with a small group of 8-10 students helping with homework, assisting in educational activities and building relationships with students.
