Ways to Step Up in February Step Up! 2012 is our year-long emphasis of five core practices that lead to a stronger faith and a more vibrant church. These practices include: worship, connect, invite, serve and give. See the list below for specific things you can do now to begin to Step Up, or check our website, bumc.net and click on “Step Up.”
Worship God daily (which includes prayer and scripture reading) and weekly. Readings for the week of February 6: John 16-20 You may start the reading plan at any time. Pick up a reading plan bookmark at the information desks and in the brochure racks in the narthex and lobby or go to www.bumc.net to learn about additional options. Join the conversation on twitter (#bumc345) and Facebook (Brentwood United Methodist Church) as we share what we’re learning through God’s word. Tuesday Morning Prayer Service Sanctuary, 6:30 -7:00 am; Quiet prayer, reflection and music. Come in your workout clothes, dressed to head to work, or just out of bed.
