SELECCIÓN DE PROYECTOS DE ANIMACIÓN Y VIDEOJUEGOS ANIMATION AND VIDEO GAMES PROJECTS SELECTION El futuro de la animación y el videojuego español y portugués podrá verse en la Convocatoria de Proyectos 3D Wire 2019, con un total de 153 proyectos, entre los que se incluyen 30 cortometrajes, 18 largometrajes, 27 series de animación y 27 videojuegos.

The future of the video game and animation in Spain could be seen in the fifth edition of 3D Wire 2019’s call for projects, with 153 projects, including 30 short films, 18 feature films, 27 animated series and 27 video games.

Premio Proyecto Corto Movistar+. La obra seleccionada obtendrá la adquisición de los derechos de emisión por parte de Movistar+ por un importe de 9.000 euros por 2 años y número ilimitado de pases, siendo el primer año en exclusividad.

Movistar+ Short Film Project Award. The selected work will get the acquisition of rights by Movistar+ amounting to 9,000 euros for 2 years and unlimited number of passes, the first year in exclusivity.

Premio RTVE Interactivo al Proyecto de Videojuego Más Innovador concedido por el departamento Medios Interactivos de RTVE; donde el proyecto seleccionado puede ser presentado a la Dirección de Interactivos de RTVE.

RTVE Interactive Award to Most Innovative Game Project awarded by the RTVE Interactive Media Department, where the selected project can be presented to RTVE Interactive Management.

Premio RTVE Interactivo al Proyecto de Videojuegos VR Más Innovador concedido por el departamento Medios Interactivos de RTVE; donde el proyecto seleccionado puede ser presentado a la Dirección de Interactivos de RTVE. En el apartado de series se consolida el reconocimiento creado el pasado año para aquellas cuyo director o productora sea su primera o segunda serie. La ganadora al Mejor Proyecto de Serie de Joven Creador obtendrá una acreditación gratuita para la siguiente edición de Annecy-MIFA (acreditación profesional MIFA). Este año como novedad habrá un Premio La Liga donde se apoyará a dos proyectos de serie o largometraje de la convocatoria para que viajen hasta Ventana Sur Animation! el próximo mes de diciembre en Buenos Aires. Las instituciones que colaboran en esta iniciativa son INCAA, Ventana Sur, ICAA y La Liga de la Animación Iberoamericana.

RTVE Interactive Award to Most Innovative VR Game Project awarded by the RTVE Interactive Media Department, where the selected project can be presented to RTVE Interactive Management. In the series section, the recognition created last year for those whose director or producer is their first or second series is consolidated. The winner of the Best Young Creator Series Project will get a free accreditation for the next edition of Annecy-MIFA (MIFA professional accreditation). This year, as a novelty, there will be a La Liga Award where two series or feature film projects of the call will be supported to travel to Ventana Sur Animation! next December in Buenos Aires. Una videoteca con diversos puestos de visionado estará disponible para el uso de los profesionales, en donde podrán ver todos los cortometrajes seleccionados y referenciados en el catálogo en donde encontrarán los contactos de venta y distribución.

3D Wire 2019 vuelve a abrir al público su Showroom, espacio expositivo, donde empresas y profesionales de la animación, videojuegos y los new media pueden enseñar sus trabajos de forma gratuita. Un espacio de exposición que ayuda a dar visibilidad todo tipo de proyectos, empresas y productos, a la vez que cada año se convierte en el mejor lugar de networking. El espacio estará abierto el viernes 4 y sábado 5 de octubre en el horario de apertura del mercado.

Átomo Network, como principal colaborador, concederá una serie de reconocimientos a las mejores series de animación on line: Átomo Network Award, a la mejor serie web en cualquier idioma diferente al castellano; y Premio Robot Atómico, a la mejor serie web en idioma castellano.

Para ambos premios la serie deberá ir dirigida a un target Teen (12+) o adulto (18+), pero en ningún caso Kids (6-11) o series Preschool.

El Átomo Network Award incluye la estatuilla de Átomo, el doblaje y publicación de la serie en español (neutro) en Átomo Network Channel y la opción de co-producción en caso de publicación exitosa de la serie. Será imprescindible que haya al menos 5 episodios producidos para optar a este premio.

The Átomo Network Award includes the Átom statuette, the dubbing and publication of the series in Spanish (neutral) on the Átomo Network Channel and the option of co-production in case of successful publication of the series. Por otro lado, 3D Wire dedica una nueva convocatoria a series de animación infantil on line para proyectos realizados con Ánima como colaborador. Ánima concederá una serie de reconocimientos a las mejores series de animación infantiles on line: Ánima Award a la mejor serie web infantil realizada en cualquier idioma diferente al español; Premio Ánima, a la mejor serie web infantil realizada en idioma español.

Furthermore, 3D Wire organizes new year a call for online preschool animation series for completed projects. Ánima will give a series of awards to the best online preschool animation series: Anima Award, to the best web series in any language other than Spanish; and Premio Ánima, to the best web series in Spanish language.

This showroom gives visibility to every kind of projects, companies and products while turning into the best annual networking place. The space will be open on Friday October 4th and Saturday October 5th during the market opening hours.

3D WIRE FEST: FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DECORTOMETRAJES DE ANIMACIÓN 3D WIRE FEST: INTERNATIONAL ANIMATION SHORT FILM FESTIVAL 3D WIRE FEST, Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Animación de 3D Wire se celebrará del 30 de septiembre al 6 de octubre en la Sala Julio Michel de La Cárcel_Segovia Centro de Creación, en horario de tarde y noche. Las proyecciones serán gratuitas y tendrán una duración de 80 minutos aproximadamente. Además de las cuatro sesiones de carácter competitivo se proyectará una proyección infantil y el palmarés. 3D WIRE FEST, International Animation Short Film Festival will be held from September 30th to October 6th at Julio Michel Room in La Cárcel_Segovia Creation Center, in the afternoon and evening. The screenings are free and will last approximately 80 minutes.

Marc Aguesse es el gerente de Catsuka, página web independiente dedicada al cine de animación creado en 2000, que también fue un programa de televisión quincenal emitido en el canal Nolife desde 2010 hasta 2018. Esta pasión por descubrir la imagen animada en todas sus formas y para las diferentes audiencias también le ha llevado a trabajar con otros medios como France 4 y Animeland, con organizadores de eventos (Centro Pompidou, AFCA, Japan Expo, PIFFF…), así como productores de algunas campañas de crowdfunding (incluido Lastman). Desde 2016, también es miembro del Comité de Preselección de Animación los Premios César. Después de haber sido durante 10 años webmaster del Grupo Delcourt (cómics), su actividad principal es actualmente la comunicación del estudio animado Bobbypills.

Productora nominada a los Premios Oscars y a los BAFTA en la sección de Nuevos Talentos. Trabaja como directora, guionista y productora en el estudio de animación Cartoon Saloon, con sede en Irlanda. Nuria estudió animación en el Edinburgh College of Art en Escocia y durante los últimos ocho años ha trabajado en todo el espectro de roles de producción de animación en televisión, publicidad y cine para niños. Sus proyectos anteriores incluyen el galardonado cortometraje “Violet”, la serie nominada a los Emmy Kids Award “Puffin Rock”, el largometraje nominado a los Globos de Oro y Oscars, “The Breadwinner” y el cortometraje ganador de un IFTA y nominado a los Oscars “Late Afternoon”.

Nació en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Actualmente es la coordinadora de la sección Animation! del Mercado Latinoamericano de Cine Ventana Sur, organizado en conjunto por el INCAA y el Marché du Film/Festival de Cannes. Silvina se ha desempeñado como productora especializada en animación durante más de 15 años. Ha desarrollado y producido cortos independientes junto a directores como Juan Pablo Zaramella y Santiago Bou. Estas películas han recibido premios internacionales y participaron de la competencia oficial de prestigiosos festivales como Sundance Film Festival (USA), Annecy International Animation Festival (Francia) e Hiroshima Festival (Japón).

Nació en noviembre de 1962 durante un invierno muy muy frío. Es historiador y sociólogo. ¡Se hizo productor cinematográfico por accidente! Ha trabajado tanto en películas de ficción como de animación. Entre sus trabajos como guionista están: «Ocurrió cerca de su casa», «A Town Called Panic» (serie, largometraje y tres especiales), «Alleluia» y «Adoration». Como productor encontramos los títulos: «Aaltra» (Delépine/Kervern), «The Ordeal», «Alleluia» y «Adoration» (Fabrice du Welz), «A Town Called Panic» (Aubier/Patar), «Ernest & Celestine» (Renner/Aubier/Patar), «Fear(s) of the Dark» (collective movie) y otros 25 proyectos más. En su faceta de actor destacan: «Le Grand Soir» (Delépine / Kervern), «Steak» (Quentin Dupieux), «Dode Hoek» (director Nabil Ben Yadir) y «Circo atómico» (directores hermanos Poiraud), etc.

Eduardo, Walter y Leonidov son tres cerditos del sur, norte y este de Europa. Después de la muerte de su madre, se embarcan en un viaje a través de 3 mundos arquitectónicos diferentes, experimentando 3 formas de vida diferentes y de relación con la naturaleza. En estos mundos, tradicional, modernista y contemporáneo, se encuentran con varios lobos de colores, cada uno representativo de la moralidad corriente, y con aves migratorias, que despertarán temores y pondrán a prueba su generosidad.

Raimundo fue un emigrante que marchó en el año 1957 hacia el Chaco, Argentina, aunque cada año desde su partida envía unas cartas para que sean publicadas en la revista de fiestas del pueblo. 63 años más tarde una de sus nietas, encuentra una de las cartas y decide buscar información sobre la vida de su abuelo contactando con la gente de Azagra, municipio de donde es originario. A través de unos encuentros de arte, la población del pueblo se dispone a reconstruir la historia de Raimundo Muro.

Olvidado por los hombres, un antiguo general atrapado en la estatua que se construyó en su honor, es testigo silencioso de cómo la ciudad que él fundó es consumida por la suciedad, la contaminación y la pérdida de valores. El único que parece escuchar sus lamentos es un joven cuervo que un día se posa sobre su hombro escapando de los peligros de la ciudad. Quizás la relación improbable entre estos dos personajes sea la única oportunidad para que el general escape de su condena.

Nadie puede escapar de sus raíces, aunque estas estén podridas.

En una caliente tarde de agosto, la familia se une a la mesa. Las memórias de cada uno se cruzan para recordar la historia de tío Botão. Desde la dictadura hasta la emigración a Francia, donde trabajó como hombre de la basura, y cuando regresó a Belmonte en una camioneta llena de “basura” que convertía en verdaderos tesoros.

Raimundo was an emigrant who marched in 1957 to The Chaco, Argentina, although every year since his departure he sent some letters to be published in the village festival magazine. 63 years later, his granddaughter finds one of the letters and decides to make a research about his grandfather’s life by contacting the people of Azagra, a little town where he was born. Through some art encounters, the town’s population prepares to reconstruct the story of Raimundo Muro.

Forgotten by his kin, the spirit of a national hero is trapped inside the statue that was built to honour him more than a hundred years ago. The hero is a silent witness of how the city is consumed by pollution, decayment and a general loss of values. The only creature capable of hearing his laments is a young crow that one day avoids certain death by resting on the statue’s shoulder. Maybe the improbable relationship between these two characters is the only opportunity for the hero to relieve his suffering.

Carmen, una bailarina de flamenco que empieza su carrera en el tablao de su familia, se enamora de Tito, un camarero del negocio familiar. La venganza de la Marquesa, clienta habitual del negocio, hace que, al estallar la Guerra Civil Española, ambos sean separados y tengan que huir. Carmen inicia un periplo con su tío Ricardo hasta Madrid y posteriormente se verán obligados a huir a Francia. En Francia serán rescatados del campo de refugiados por Tito, quien les lleva a París, donde el famoso cazatalentos Dominique conseguirá que el baile de Carmen triunfe a pesar de su discapacidad.

“Lar Doce Lar” presenta la vida cotidiana un edificio de apartamentos. En todo el mundo, es un ambiente muy familiar. El edificio funciona como un pequeño mundo que refleja la realidad, fuera de la pantalla. Cada uno de los personajes es directamente responsable y/o afectado por su propio comportamiento. Los diferentes personajes permiten una identificación fácil y rápida por parte del público, con ellos mismos o incluso con algunos vecinos o conocidos. Las historias se desarrollan muy rápidamente, exponiendo situaciones que todos experimentan, ven o conocen en la vida cotidiana común.

Llorch es un joven optimista e ingenuo que espera grandes cosas de la vida y de sí mismo a pesar de contar con un escaso desarrollo social e intelectual. Comparte piso con Pifa, su mejor amigo y fiel escudero, y Steve, un estudiante de intercambio alemán del que apenas sabe su nombre. Los tres juntos son capaces de muchas cosas, aunque ninguna de ellas puede salir bien.

Pol Cabot, un joven desencantado con la vida, se encuentra atrapado en “La Ciudad de Cucut”, un parque temático donde sus visitantes han olvidado el mundo exterior y creen vivir en un fantástico mundo steampunk. ¿Logrará, junto a una enigmática ladrona y los pocos que conocen la verdad, descubrir los secretos que oculta la misteriosa metrópolis y regresar al mundo real?

Llorch is an optimistic and naive young man who expects great things from life and from himself despite having little social and intellectual development. He shares a flat with Pifa, his best friend and faithful partner, and Steve, a German exchange student who barely knows his name. Este proyecto cuenta con el asesoramiento de equipo de médicos expertos en sexualidad y planificación familiar de jóvenes.

“Stronger” es una comedia de acción que va sobre Katy, una chica de 17 años a la que una tortuga alienígena le encarga la misión de proteger el planeta de la invasión de los Splonchers, unos monstruos mutantes que se dedican a invadir planetas y convertirlos en masas asquerosas. Este es un universo donde la gente con poderes y habilidades extraordinarias pueden llegar a ser millonarias celebridades televisivas, así que Katy, que está en una edad un poco idiota, tendrá que aprender a priorizar la supervivencia del planeta por encima de ser famosa y guay.

This is a universe where people with powers and extraordinary abilities can become millionaire television celebrities, so Katy, who is in a somewhat idiotic age, will have to learn to prioritize the survival of the planet above being famous and cool.

Esta serie cuenta la historia de T-Rey, un pequeño tyrannosaurus que vive con el corazón dividido: por un lado, sus padres, carnívoros alpha, le insisten en que es superior al resto de dinosaurios, y por el otro, tiene a sus amigos del colegio, la mayoría herbívoros, que le demuestran día a día que sus padres no pueden estar más equivocados.

Villa Pelusa es una serie de animación infantil en 3D que tiene como objetivo entretener a los niños pequeños, al mismo tiempo que se aportan valores que ayuden a combatir complejos e inseguridades. El proyecto se basa en el desarrollo del producto desde cero, pasando por las distintas fases de producción hasta obtener una propuesta de serie en todas sus facetas.

Wooden Mirror es la historia de Ambo, un niño que crece en un mundo donde todos los hombres son guerreros y todas las mujeres son enfermeras. Sensible y creativo, Ambo no quiere ser un guerrero, prefiere ser un enfermero. Pero en su reino esto no es una opción, tendrá que luchar para encontrar su lugar en la vida.

T-Rey tells the story of a small tyrannosaur who lives with a split heart: on the one hand, his parents, alpha carnivores, insist that he is superior to the rest of the dinosaurs, and on the other, he has his friends from school, most herbivores, who show him day by day that their parents can not be more wrong.

Villa Pelusa is a 3D animated series aims to entertain young children as well as teaching values which will help them to get over different complexes and insecurities. The project is based on the carrying out the product from scratch to the last stage of a global animated series (through all of the production stages).

Wooden Mirror is the story of Ambo, a boy who grows up in a kingdom where all men must be warriors and all women must be nurses. Sensitive and creative, Ambo doesn’t want to be a warrior, he prefers to be a nurse. But in his kingdom this is not an option, he will have to fight to find his place in life.
