SOuL Gives Generously
Linda Wright, SOul member
The members of SOuL (aka Corte Bella “Sisters with SOuL”) recently voted to disburse funds to a number of worthy organizations in the valley. The following donations totaling $5,600 were approved: • St. Mary’s Food Bank - $500 • Valley View Food Bank - $500 These funds will be used to feed many hungry people in this valley. Every $1 of this donation will effectively feed 7 people who need help. • West Valley Salvation Army Corps - $2,000 These funds will help to send eligible children to two weeks of summer camp in the mountains, and sponsor other children in summer day camps held locally. • Phoenix Dream Center - $2,000 This donation will support the center’s Hope Wing that works with victims of human trafficking and will be used to purchase supplies and equipment. • Ryan’s Case for Smiles - $500 The donation will assist this group with the purchase of fabric to make these special pillow cases for children with cancer. • Thompson Ranch Elementary School - $100 This donation is a contribution to the community fundraiser at the school to support the “100 ton Project”. The donation will provide 2 tons ($50/ton) to help restore erosion-damaged area near the front school sidewalk.

SOuL thanks the Corte Bella community for their support that allows for these donations to happen. The community has been so very generous in every way possible. SOuL looks forward to many more opportunities that will result in more “good works” by our organization. Thank you, Corte Bella!
