TAD Concert Voyager, A Tribute to Journey

April 26

Outside on the Anacapa patio, under chilly April evening skies, the residents of Corte Bella enjoyed an amazing show that paid tribute to the vocals and instrumental genius of the band Journey. It was top-notch entertainment and all right here inside our gates.

Anacapa’s Mother’s Day Brunch

The restaurant and the outside patio of the Anacapa was beautifully decorated for this special day for mothers. A delicious a la carte menu provided wonderful selections for all the many residents in attendance. This event is always well-attended and such a wonderful Spring occasion.

Wine and Dine Dinner

Jason Love Comedy Show

May 7

Corte Bella residents welcomed back the comedy of Jason Love and his two entertaining LA “friends” on the Anacapa patio for a night filled with laughter. Everyone in attendance was so glad to have these shows return! May 12 and May 13

The return of this special evening activity was welcomed by the many Corte Bella residents who’ve been waiting patiently all these many months. Wines of Italy were featured and paired to a four-course meal prepared and presented by Anacapa’s Executive Chef Dan Haywood. At these two dinners, the memory of Mary Ann Bradley was honored with toasts and tributes to a very treasured friend.

May 16 and May 17

Another set of outside-on-the-patio concerts were held with Corte Bella folks enjoying music that had them dancing in the breezeway and on the grass. It was a night full of musical memories. Everyone loved this experience.

Cooking with Chef Dan

May 18 and May 19

Executive Chef Dan Haywood brought back his popular cooking demonstration classes with an outdoor summer grilling menu presented over two days. His technique, along with his sense of humor while presenting, provided smiles and satisfied appetites to those who attended the classes.

First Friday with Pam

Friday, June 4

A standing room only crowd of residents attended Lifestyle Manager Pam Lawrence’s First Friday with Pam on June 4th for what was once again an in-person event, the first in over 14 months. The attendees enjoyed meeting new residents, learning about upcoming events, and listening to a farewell address from outgoing General Manager, Michael Arrington.

The Ultimate Chicago A TAD Management Concert

Monday, June 14

Corte Bella residents don’t pay much attention to the weather when they have an opportunity to listen to live music from TAD Management. The band that paid tribute to Chicago was out-ofthis world good. The vocals were on point and the musicians were top notch. For almost two solid hours, the residents clapped, sang along and remembered this music from another era. It was a perfect musical night, and the fact that it was hot out really didn’t matter much at all. The music was cool and that’s all that really mattered.

What’s Happening in Corte Bella Cooking with Chef Dan

Friday, June 18

Anacapa’s Executive Chef Dan Haywood thrilled the cooking demonstration attendees with beautifully created dishes at this event. The Grilled Vegetable Tower with Balsamic was platelicking good. The main course of Chicken and Mushrooms Crepes was delicious. The finale of the Warm Vanilla Butter Cake with Caramel Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream just about put everyone into a food coma. What a fabulous way to spend an Arizona summer afternoon.
