Study abroad in copenhagen, denmark: this culture house locatd at the enigma museum derives much from the historical changes of field systems to create a space that educates kids about both food and culture.

Denmark, a country that relied heavily on agriculture has had a long history of farming and agricultural practices. My investigation started with research of the changes that occurred since the 1300s regarding farming structures and field systems.

AT Enigma Museum of Telecommunications Copenhagen, Denmark
Indepth research led to the conclusion that there was always a central location for gathering despite changes in land distribution. Drawing from diagrams created by examining both the field divisions and the movement of people, the two kitchens and the dining room were situated to create a constant flow of interaction and transparency.

Articulated Binding product design
What started out as a project to create a binding for a printed portfolio, the product became a journey to redefine book "binding" and to understand the importance of material manipulation. Bass is manipulated, pushed to its boundaries to create a new, flexible form.

Retail
Housing works' thrift store creates an intersect between corporate and service. the stairs double as a podium and seating, with the openness of this whole design encouraging shoppers to listen to these talks as they shop.

The Housing Works organization fights for funding of people with AIDS/HIV. By utilizing the stairs as the intersection that links the organization's thrift store and medical center, the design creates an intersection that stitches together the two programs.
