Thesis Homeless Shelter in Trump Tower
In my critical study, the homeless is "hidden in plain sight", cloaked in the guise of luxury. Not only does this analysis criticize the nonchalance, but also expose the thinness of luxury, which is the reality of POPS (privately owned public spaces) buildings. As visitors and inhabitants of Trump Tower circulate the space, they are forced to face this societal issue instead of turning away.

Diagrams of program The Housing Works organization fights for funding of people with AIDS/HIV. By utilizing the stairs as the intersection that link the organization's thrift store and medical center, the design creates stitches together the two programs. The threaded aspect articulates how the thrift store and the medical center coexist in a space that functions to fulfill the organization's goal.
