Thesis Homeless Shelter in Trump Tower

In my critical study, the homeless is "hidden in plain sight", cloaked in the guise of luxury. Not only does this analysis criticize the nonchalance, but also expose the thinness of luxury, which is the reality of POPS (privately owned public spaces) buildings. As visitors and inhabitants of Trump Tower circulate the space, they are forced to face this societal issue instead of turning away.

Articulated Binding product design

What started out as a project to create a binding for a printed portfolio, the product became a journey to redefine "binding" and to understand the importance of material manipulation. Basswood is pushed to its boundaries to create a new, flexible form.
