Holtec Technology Campus (HTC) is comprised of a 350,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art heavy manufacturing facility, a 100,000 sq. ft. warehouse, and a 140,000 sq. ft. 7-story Class A office together with 55-acres of site development.
The manufacturing facility structural mat was constructed of 4,000, 16-inch diameter driven piles; under the heavy machinery bay (PAMA VertiRam & SpeedRam, Carnaghi VTL, and Davi Large Roller), temporary sheet piles enclosed a 30-ft deep, 75,000 sq. ft. excavation with continuous dewatering to install 500-piles and custom equipment-specific concrete mats up to 7-feet thick. The project also included removal of a section of timber low- deck bulkhead that was replaced with sheet piling.
The office is steel with poured metal deck, curtainwall with some ribbon-window, metal panel, and fitout ornamental communicating stairwells linking each division of the company. The campus is located on South Jersey Port Corporation (SJPC) property along the Delaware River and was the home of the now defunct New York Shipbuilding Company. Older structures involved in WWI and WWII shipbuilding and the shipways had to be demolished to make way for the campus. The historical site required careful environmental remediation and archaeological exploration. A county road was rerouted along with the utilities including a high-pressure gas main. New rail siding was brought into the site and existing siding rerouted to support Holtec’s logistical needs. The campus was awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Project of the Year Campus by the US Green Building Council in New Jersey in 2018.

Construction Cost:
Total Construction $245 Million
Completion: December 2017
Team: Owner: Conner Strong & Buckelew, NFI Industries, The Michaels Organization
The TRIAD 1828 Centre is a LEED Certified, 19-story, Class A Office tower headquarters of three companies – Connor Strong & Buckelew, NFI Industries, and The Michaels Organization. The building can fit over 1,000 employees within the Class A office space with an option to finish another floor to expand the capacity. JINGOLI performed all phases of the work from siting, design, building, and commissioning.
The site is on one city block in Camden, NJ along the Delaware River on the old Radio Corporation of America (RCA) factory location. Significant environmental remediation was undertaken to clear the foundation for construction. The foundation consists of 100’ deep reinforced pumped concrete piles. The 12-story, steel-framed office sits atop a 7-story, precast garage pedestal. JINGOLI specified three precast concrete stair and elevator cores above the garage for the height of the building which was an innovative method to cut months from the project schedule as compared to poured concrete cores. The tower is topped with a helicopter landing pad and the largest American flag of any building in Camden, NJ.
